    I have a feeling NE is going to blow out JAX

    Strictly b/c of ESPN and the media. Currently ESPN and sports talk has nothing to talk about in the NFL except for Tom Brady's non existent hand injury. This morning I'm watching and ESPN is raving about how the betting odds have gone down and what the potential odds would be if Brady was NOT PLAYING.


    A month ago, the story was how Brady/Belichick relationship was in turmoil and blah blah blah, so what did Patriots did, smoke the Titans last week by 21. Grated you might say, well it's only Tennessee, but you know what NE beat them like they were supposed to beat them.

    Now the story is Brady and his hand. ESPN probably has tons of money on NE, because they want to joe schmo public to be all over Jax. I actually did at first like Jax +9 and I like a new team potentially in the superbowl and their story coming from the bottom to where they are now.....

    but after all this media garbage around Brady, I just have this gut instinct that Brady is going to throw 300+ yards and 3 TDs and just shut everyone up like they always do.

    NE -7 all day for me

    I hope you are right.
    I was never on the 16-0 Super team we were hearing about preseason.
    They have performed well enough to get the #1 seed, but along the way have shown plenty of chinks.
    Missing Edelman is huge. Hightower made so many huge plays when it counted in last years playoffs.

    I just can`t see anything but a bloodbath, tight game vs. the Jags.

    Agreed, and besides all that, the Pat's are battle tested, and the Jags are not, especially Mr. Bortles. GL men.

    I see where the Pat's line went back up today, slightly though.
    Here is why.
    Three days after Tom Brady's right-hand injury occurred, it appears we know who did it.

    According to NFL Media's Mike Garafolo on Good Morning Football, it was running back Rex Burkhead.

    "It was Rex Burkhead. He'll be safe, though," Garafolo said. "Rex Burkhead was the running back. They were colliding as they were doing some sort of hand-off in a little drill. I don't know exactly what happened, but it resulted in a cut. There was blood all over the place and it was significant."

    As for Brady in the AFC title game, it appears he should be OK.

    "He was spinning the ball pretty well at practice," Garafolo said. "Receivers didn't notice anything different from what I gather. We'll see how much of a factor it is if he has to squeeze it into a tight window, but from what I am told he should be good to go."

    My sources say Brady's hand is actually fractured and has swollen up pretty bad and a cast has been designed for it. He will be wearing a throwing glove also, the cast is similar to the cast designed for Clay Matthews by Dr. Andrews of Birmingham Alabama.
