    Well Lane is pretty much a carnival barker so this all makes sense in a weird way. I mean the reason Lane would want him is pretty simple right? He's a recruiting tool. Doesn't matter of the kid can't play a lick.

    Without his stacked bama O-line and that stout defense to back up his terrible QB skills, he is mediocre at best. All he has was Ridley and his legs, not so much a QB IQ.

    agreed......... too much disrespect here...... he was saban's starting QB for 2 years as a freshman and sophomore. surely that says something. and a ton of QB's transferred because of him
