    Can or do books consider you a sharp for being good at hedging?

    Whether your hedging to secure profits, minimize losses or trying to catch a middle after halftime or in live play, can you be considered a sharp if your proficient and consistent with hedging?

    I would have thought I would have known the answer by now, but I don't.

    Unless the second bet is +EV independently you are giving back some of
    the first bet’s value so they shouldn’t.

    They beat everyone and the ones that win are random winners like any other form of gambling

    +EV bets gets destroyed also long term now because edge is not great enough
