Rare Players Talk play by a village idiot

    NHL Heritage Classic 100
7pm eastern time outdoor game in Ottawa

    OVER 5.5 +100 MTL@OTT
    5 units to win 5

NHL is 100 years old. Game has changed and it will be on display. Tonight temperatures are expected to be -15 degrees below zero. Not gonna see highest quality defense. Goalies will be nuts in hands trying to avoid hypothermia.

    I like it!

    any snow?

I went to a blackhawks/pens outdoor game at soldier field and during the snow, the puck could barely be passed or shot more than 20 feet, but after the snow stopped the scoring was big

    not supposed to snow.

Hands on nuts. How can goalies stop a shot with their hands in their pants.

I'd watch game to find that out, but it's too cold for me to even watch. We all have our limits.

I am here in Ottawa and although it is not snowing, it is f-ing cold! I see the Sens pulling it off so that would be my play.

angle here is they ain't gonna play great defense overall. Not gonna be blocking shots with their bodies, not gonna be checking hard into the boards. Could score like an All-star game. Plus, both teams have a history of producing Overs in their outdoor game history.... not that it's incredibly relevant, but just an added plus.

    Jan.1 NHL Winter Classic

    NHL Winter Classic
1pm eastern time outdoor game at Citi Field, New York

OVER 5.5 +110 NY Rangers @ Buffalo Sabres
    5 units to win 5.50

I know today is College Football at its finest, but we also have just one NHL Hockey contest.

Temperatures for this outdoor game are expected to be 15 degrees, with brisk 20-25mph winds, bringing the windchill to -7 below zero. For some scheduling reason Buffalo Sabres are considered the home team for this game.

Going with the same logic that cost me a loss on Dec.16 in the NHL Heritage 100 Classic, which Ottawa beat Montreal by a score of 3-0. Montreal did not show-up for that game, other than their goalie Carey Price.

Not gonna see highest quality defense. Goalies will be nuts in hands trying to avoid hypothermia.

Both teams played overtime games on Wed.Dec.27 and Fri.Dec.29, then had the weekend off.
