    They can appeal but I wouldn't be surprised if they lost that appeal.

    Such a strong hammer sounds more than political. Maybe the money used to help cover the doping has dried up.

    Russia will make it political. One article I saw said they would consider a boycott, little late for that unless after a successful appeal.

    "No, I quit"



    Clean Russian athletes that do compete will play under the Olympic flag and Russia gets no credit.

    I suppose a boycott would be to not send those clean athletes at all.

    The doping, and the hiding of the doping, were extensive. At one point, small rods were used to pry open the sealed tops of urine testing containers, fluids were switched and the caps replaced, with the containers being exchanged through small holes in a wall of the lab where athlete urine samples were kept. Russian officials would add substances like salt to the clean, switched urine samples to make them appear more real. This is just the tip of a very elaborate iceberg of doping and cover-ups.
    I want to hear more strategies.

    tomorrow Putin will announce whether athletes will go there under Olympic flag in principle - if I were Vladimir the Great - I would say penetrate you WADA and announce the world Olympics in Russia nexxt year and invite all the countries, except the USA.

    was listening to dan patrick show clip and he was talking about this said there is a documentary on netflix called icarus about the guy who stumbled across the russians cheating sounds very interesting

    Which of means US athletes have no idea if they are going.

    If the US doesn't go, there won't be an Olympics, at this point
