First Richard Sherman, now another member of the "Legion of Boom."Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor is likely to miss the rest of the season with a neck injury, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Chancellor missed practice on Thursday and Friday, and will not only miss Monday's game against the Falcons, but probably the remainder of 2017.
The news comes just one week after Seattle lost Richard Sherman for the year with an Achilles injury, so this is just more bad news for the Seahawks.
Rookies Delano Hill and Tedric Thompson are likely to fill in for Chancellor while he's sidelined, which is a fairly big drop off from the All-Pro. Seattle is already one game back of the Seahawks in the NFC West - a gap that could grow in the coming weeks.
The Rams will face Seattle on the road on Dec. 17, which could determine who wins the division and makes the postseason. Not having Chancellor or Sherman in that one changes things dramatically.
NFC wide da fukk open.
