I cant wait for football. I love the summer, and I'm usually take it off from gambling. But I'm tryin' to quit drinkin' & raisin' hell, so goin' out on the boat everyday isn't a good thing. So I'm tryin' to learn as much as I can about bettin' bases.

i dont pay much attention to many other ppl about picks, i like to discuss games and hear other ppls logic but so few ppl actually post reasoning, that is one thing i gotta give SJ although i rarely go to the NBA forum from what i have seen of him at least he does try and explain why he is on a game...i rarely post a play w/o something to back it up as ridiculous as my logic is at times

at least i try and let ppl see how i look at the games

that is no fun.....i like totals myself, keeps the juice at a minimum but i do play some favs every now and then and i like chasing in baseball seems like almost cheating as long as you are on the right teams

NFL used to be my Favorite sport to bet then a few years ago i discovered the greatness that is college hoops, to me the college sports are where its at, give me tons and tons of games where there are soft lines to be found everywhere on teams no one ever pays attention to

coug, don't take this the wrong way cause I have a ton of respect for your capping ability in mlb.(amazing record especially considering the amount of games you have bet) You have done much better than I ever have.

Your units are a bit deceiving, I did not look at all your picks but it seems the lowest unit you ever bet on a game is 3, and your average units per play is 4-5. Shouldn't your base unit be increased?

I mean in actuality none of this matters much, but obviously when your average bet is 4 units, its much easier to win or lose 100 units than if you are actually at least occasionally betting your base unit.

Congrats on the great start and I might start tailing you soon if you keep this up.

I don't want to get too ahead of myself here.

It's only the beginning of May and I'd like to keep what I have already won.

As for me not posting my units, give me a break. Everybody knows on here that I would be up a ridiculous amount of units. It's not like I won all the little plays and lost my big ones. It was the exact opposite I hit my game of the year and O/U of the year and wrote that I put 15 units on both those. I also hit like 75% on my big/heavy plays which are 4 units+.

does that mean you will be gravitating to more 1-2 unit plays? Or are you saying that by not increasing your overall wagers (in correlation with your bankroll size), that you are not getting ahead of yourself?

I think I may just end up playing less games. I don't like to push the limits once I am up so much. However, that being said, it's hard to stop doing what is working.

ahh yea i did see in your thread you were thinking about going to a max 5 plays per day or something like that.

That's a great idea I think, would be hard, probably impossible to keep winning at the rate you are, betting as many games as you are.
