I'm a UF fan. For some reason, we play our Eastern rivals fairly well. Even when we are down, we compete against little brother. UGA is still little brother. UF beat the shit out of UGA with Treon Harris at QB and Muschump on the sidelines and only throwing the ball 6 times, then Treon beat them again, so anything can happen. UGA's defense had a lot of trouble with Mizzou. Think about that?

UF has beaten UGA 21 out of the last 27 times and the last 3 straight. Sure UF is a mash unit right now but never underestimate the power of a rivalry. I think UF plays well for the first 3 quarters but lose it down the stretch. I think UF covers easily.

This is a very strange rivalry. Florida won games in 2008-9-10. Then Georgia won in 2011-12-13. Then Florida again in 2014-15-16. At this rate, Georgia has three years of prosperity against Florida starting this season. If both teams play their "A" games, Georgia wins this in a rout. The only way they lose is if they give the game to Florida, or take them too lightly.

Florida junior WR Antonio Callaway and six other suspended Gators have entered a pre-trial intervention program.

Callaway and company are facing felony credit card charges and have been out on indefinite suspension for the entirety of the current campaign. Per the Associated Press, "The players will need to make restitution and comply with probation protocols in order to get the charges dropped. The intervention offers still need to be approved by a judge in the coming weeks." While there's positive headway being made in this messy situation, the suspended players will need to go before the Student Code of Conduct Committee before they're allowed to practice. Their availability for the remainder of the season remains a dicey proposition.

Florida HC Jim McElwain indicated that sophomore WR Tyrie Cleveland (ankle) is probable for Saturday's game against Georgia.

"Ultimately we've got to wait for the trainer and all that come game time, which is why, I don't know, what would that be? Probable," McElwain said. It's not the most definitive of declarations, but looking past McElwain's comments, Cleveland has been able to practice this week and was listed as a starter on the Gators' unofficial depth chart for Saturday. The sophomore wideout has benefited from having a bye week to rest up. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is working to a 15-326-2 receiving line in five games this year. His average reception mark of 21.7 yards ranks as ninth best in the country.

Georgia took out years of frustration on Florida in one game. Really sounds like butter tooth is gone. Good move for Florida getting a jump on schools like Tennessee who are hanging onto their current coaches. Bad news is Georgia isn’t going away. UF needs a guy who can recruit like Jimbo & Kirby.

Uga is ahead of them right now with Georgia’s recent commits. Doesn’t matter where they are now though. Matters how they close. UF has Richt to deal with now too. He will cut off South Florida from them if they aren’t careful.

Nice win by UGA. Ended up keeping it to a 1 unit play.
