Good Mormon kid, gets a bad rep. He’s low key, never hear about him causing trouble here in DC. He will get serious injury by 30y/o for sure though.

In a sense yes, all the above. Sure, now his body can withstand the violent torque of his swing. But he’s in his early 20s. Close to 30y/o the elasticity of tendons, ligaments and cartilage increases. The shear stress eventually causes a tear. This is why guys get injured so easily or can’t recover as quickly once they hit 30’s. Sure he could play another 10 to 15 years and not get a serious injury, but he has some serious bat lag on every swing, his helmet flies off his head at least once a game. Same thing happened to Tiger Woods, one of most violent golf swings ever and eventually we saw the results.

You don't think Tiger was a PED user? It seems like that would go with his addictive personality. I.e.: sex, mixture of alcohol and pills, etc. One of my all time favorite players broke down early due to the things you suggested about Harper: Darin Erstad.

In terms of performance enhancing drugs, there is no evidence they lead to increased injury. There is however in refutable evidence they increase protein synthesis and growth factors, which enhance recovery. Allowing older guys to play well into the 40s. I think if Tiger was taking something, he would would have come back from injury just as good or even better, or even possibly prevented the injury in the first place.
