Wrong again... New technology has allowed for break-even pricing at $40-50 a barrel to give a wide range... it used to be $60-70 years ago, still lower than $75.... oil IMO is headed to that $60-70 range eventually, which means we will be doing just fine... Saudi/Russia can't survive with these prices especially when it was what $35-45 not too long ago... It's all by design... It will bounce back eventually. Will it ever go over $100 anytime soon, that's a whole other ballgame.

I'd love for Oil Sands to break even at $40. I'm in the oil business, so I can't wait for it go up. Of course there's been forces that have kept it low to squeeze several countries that we aren't privy to. Hope we see it soon, because lower for longer sucks.

I have friends on both sides of this issue. Everyone against kneeling are not white nationalist. They love this country just like we all do and they feel like it is disrespectful. I can understand that to an extent. But, I think many have just made a knee jerk reaction and came to this conclusion of it being disrespectful without giving it much thought. But respect for our country is an emotional topic. People are going to get heated on both sides. I don't know why but it is what it is.

My comment to them is that NONE of these guys are kneeling to disrespect the flag or our country. That makes no sense. They don't kneel to dishonor men and women who died in the name of freedom. They don't kneel to say fukk you USA. Colin Kaepernick probably loves this country as much if not more than anyone else. He's kneeling for a cause that has nothing to do with the flag or the anthem. Just because you and I may not believe in his cause or the way he chooses to display it is no reason to belittle him or say that his cause is of no value. Most people don't even know what he's been protesting. They keep saying, "what is he protesting" or "he doesn't know what he's protesting". They haven't taken the time to find out what he's protesting but formed an opinion that he must be a bad guy?

This country was built on protest. We've had protests on every campus, government building, city hall in this country. It is how we address life. When I was in college, there was a different protest on campus every week. I thought most of them were ridiculous but far be it from me to think that I was better than them or that they didn't have the right to believe in what they believed in. I'm not a fan of PETA. Do you know what the average career span of a NFL player is ? According to the NFL Players Association the average career length is about 3.3 years. The NFL claims that the average career is about 6 years (for players who make a club's opening day roster in their rookie season). Players with at least one Pro Bowl appearance usually have the longest career of all NFL players. I would guess within every 2 years at least 50% of all starting line up players on every NFL team has changed. If you play basketball or baseball you can have long career if your good enough. You honestly dont think the owners would put in a subpar player to try to stop losing money? The NFL has an obligation to the tv contract deals they made or else they would get sued by the networks and advertisers. Im talking billions of dollars. So yes the owners would put subpar players out on the field to protect their financial interest.
