    NFL is gradually slipping

Every team basically can be a photo shoot for a prison

Look at all the players it's disgraceful what they look like

LA is simply not a city that will support a losing team.

    Not can't. Won't.

LA has other stuff going on. NFL should have learned the first time around.

Half empty stadium on opening day with their new team. Not good

They should have renamed them the LA Dreamers, that would have gotten support

Chargers were smart. They are playing their games at the LA Galaxy's stadium to a 30,000 person capacity until the $2 billion stadium is done. It'll always feel full there.

Can support 4 NFL teams if they wanted. there's a zillion people in LA and surrounding suburbs.

Too much to do though to pay good money + high ass parking to go see bad football.

Also it's Sunday the dodgers are pretty empty as well.

Sunday is do something with family day like go to brunch or Disneyland.

LA is full of Mexicans, a new soccer league would probably do better then the NFL coming to town.. The base is Latino and most don't like football unless they are second generation and speak English.. My take anyways..

    True that...

Rams defense is owning this game.. Indy looks really bad and a weak team though.. Rams were always knocking on the door with a stellar D, maybe they have it this year finally.. A good D will always keep you in games...

The Coliseum is archaic, only losers like GauchoJake show up at that shithole.

Once the new place gets built, you'll see more people turn out.

It's gonna look like a home game when teams like Green Bay, Steelers or Cowboys go to L.A.

Exactly, seating in uncomfortable and you are just baking in the hot sun.. Plus the Rams aren't exactly a huge draw based on last years performance.. They didn't score many points last year and didn't win many games.. Nothing to get excited about in other words..

If the Rams put together wins early on in the season like today the fans will start showing up regardless. I plan on making a game this year.. It's only 30 minute drive to USC campus from my house in SM..

The Rams should've just dissolved and they should have given us an expansion team.

I can't stand the Rams uniforms. The old ones that were purple and gold were awesome.

93,600 to be exact.. Hard to fill up that place and sell it out for sure especially when you have a cellar team from last year.. When you turn on sports radio out here in LA it's mainly Charger talk now with Rivers..

Rams marketing team are trying to create interest though with giving away Dodge ram cars and trucks contest, call in winning, free seats, etc.. all the time.. I hear it...

Tickets for Colts-Rams opener in Los Angeles are selling for under $10

Fans in Los Angeles don't seem too excited about the Rams' opener

If you've ever wanted to attend a regular season NFL game at preseason prices, then you might actually have the chance to do that on Sunday if you're in the Los Angeles area.
Apparently, fans in L.A. aren't getting very excited about the chance to see Colts starting quarterback Scott Tolzien play against the Rams because tickets to the game are going for under $10 on the secondary market, which is an absurdly low price for a Week 1 NFL game.
As of 8 a.m. PT/ 11 a.m. ET, there were a total of 73 tickets on Stubhub that were selling for $10 or less. The game kicks off at 1:05 p.m. PT/4:05 p.m. PT.

Rams tickets are not a hot commodity in Los Angeles. StubhubAs you can see, the cheapest ticket to the game was going for $6. To put that in perspective, the Redskins home game against the Eagles was the only other Week 1 game that had tickets available for under $20 on Sunday morning, and the cheapest ticket to that game was $18.
It's almost like people in L.A. have given up on the season before it's even started.

Generally, you only see regular season ticket prices drop to $10 or lower when the calendar hits December and the game being played involves two teams that have been eliminated from the playoff race. You pretty much never see ticket prices drop this low for a regular season opener.
At the rate tickets prices are going for the Rams, there's a good chance people will just be giving their tickets away for free by the time we hit November.
Of course, there are several possible reasons why no one in Los Angeles is interested in this game. For one, Andrew Luck isn't playing. Instead, Rams fans will be paying to see Scott Tolzien, which seems like a horrible deal. Also, Rams fans might have a bad taste in their mouth after watching their favorite team get in a contract dispute with the team's best player (Aaron Donald). Donald held out all of training camp and didn't report to the team until Saturday. The Rams' star defensive lineman isn't expected to play against the Colts.
There's also the possibility that people in Los Angeles just aren't excited about the Rams, which would be horrible news for a team that's about to kick off its second season in their new city.

I saw the Chargers play the Giants in 98' with Leaf at the Helm, I was probably 1 of about 5000 people in Quallcomm Stadium that day. Pretty sure leaf got picked on every pass he threw that day. Terrible game, I couldn't have been any more bored, but I did end up having a blast on the 1 month long trip. We got a beachfront hotel room comped and ended up with a dozen or so recent HS grad girls staying across from us. Pretty surreal experiences that trip
