There is a team there for TV purposes. The 2nd largest market in the US makes it better for selling advertising time. The NFL wants a team there more than the people in LA do.

Last time I went to the LA Col was when USC had a great football team and Pete Carroll was the coach.. It's been a while.. It was a dump then and is a dump now.. It was packed back then and fun.. I'm a Bruin fan too.. Still enjoyed the college atmosphere..

LA got two NFL teams because it's the 2nd largest TV market in the United States which means millions of dollars in TV revenue.

If LA was that great of a market it wouldn't have taken 20 years to get a team there again.

Lakers/Dodger games only fill up when they are winning. Not enough loyal fans in LA, but still better than San Diego fans hands down.

Chargers did fine in SD when Spanos put a decent product on the field.

75 bucks to park in and around the Stub Hub Center helped too.

The team sells out at 65000 seats. The Coliseum holds like 90k. It looks empty because they do not make those seats available for sale for Rams games.

Seahawks are still 1 game back. Rams control their own destiny.
