"A future bet is a wager that is placed on upcoming event that will take place in the coming weeks or months." - from Sbo.net
So I placed a wager on the 200 meter Women's Gold Medal at the IAAF Athletics Championship on Tori Bowie. The competition itself was a few days in, and I placed the wager a few hours before the heats began for the race began. Bowie withdrew from the competition around that time, and Intertops is saying despite the withdrawal, this will be graded as a loss not a push because this is a "futures bet". When I placed the wager, it did not state anywhere that this is an all-in bet.
Based on the definition of a futures bet, a bet placed several days into the competition and a few hours before the start of the race cannot be considered a "futures bet" can it?
What do you guys think? Do I have grounds to escalate this matter?
