    Early look at Friday baseball

    Texas (Perez) -114 This is probably an early number to grab. Colon is washed up and cannot see him getting over 5 innings. Overnight action will probably send this price higher.

    Detroit (Verlander) +118 Willing to give him a shot at pitching a big one here, Orioles not exactly world beaters and I'll side with the dog. Going to let the betting tell the tale here.

    Colon is terrible
    Most of minor-league pitchers are better than him I don't know why he's wasting a spot for a young kid

    Interested to see where Verlander's head is at now that his starts aren't all job interviews. The psychological factor here fascinates me for some reason.

    Not a lot of movement yet, but still early. I don't think these two games are going to see a lot of volume so I went ahead a played both.

    Well, the line has moved against me in both games. Concerned more with Detroit than I am Texas. That's a pretty hefty move on Baltimore.
