The main symptoms are irritability and slight shaking

It's more of a psychological addiction although it could be physical

Take up golf. Go to the driving range and hit a large bucket every day for two weeks. Then schedule a tee time on a early Saturday morning.

And then you will start getting boiles all over your body that will start pussing. After that you will get a high fever, sever shakes and will probably go into cardiac arrest. Other symptoms include diahrea, and loss of organs. Amputation of limbs will also follow after the infection.

otters you have a local? If not just pm the major books and tell them you have a gambling problem and you want to stop illegally gambling. They will ban you. Honestly bro the way you gamble do you honestly think you will ever win money...if you don't care then keep doing it. If you do care then stop

You guys are funny.. Ok let's keep it real all jokes aside..

I know what compulsive gamblers are like and what they go thru.. It's very emotional with the highs and lows that you go through.. I had a best friend that was compulsive and it almost ruined his life, he had to check himself into GA and work the 12 step program to beat it and change his life for the better. He was out of control.... He doesn't gamble today and is a self made millionaire.. Happily married with kids. He doesn't gamble and hasn't in years..

That's never been me...I could go a week tomorrow without gambling and it wouldn't even bother me. I'd probably enjoy the break but it would be out of the norm for sure.. I've been gambling sports for over 20 years now daily and it's just like daily business at this point.. I don't ride the highs and lows that hard..

Some of you guys need to not take gambling so emotionally and treat it more like a business is what I'm getting at. Don't let it dominate your thoughts. Let go of your losses when they happen and move on.. Forget about that money you lost and don't chase, just reset restart.. Think like that was money you never had in other words when you lose.. Never borrow to gamble either.. Never borrow to chase if you must..

When you get to the point where you don't even watch the games you bet on daily that helps as well. That's when you know you aren't compulsive..I don't even watch the games I bet on most of the time.. Just the highlights, I expect to win but don't even flinch when I lose. Compulsive gamblers ride their gambling emotions on their sleeves, if they win they are SO HAPPY, and if they LOSE they get pissed and immediately start thinking how they can win it back. That's when you get into trouble.. They can't let go of those losses easily and it weighs on their minds.. Can ruin their days..

That's my take on it all.. Gambling can be kinda like drinking.. You can be a full blown alcoholic that needs a drink in the morning, noon and night or you can be a weekend warrior with discipline.. A casual drinker under control...

Just gamble to make a certain amount a day like $100. Hard to watch sports center if you gamble and team you bet on loses

Maybe you should buy one of those dog shock collars and put it on you when you get the urge to gamble. Then either do it yourself or call a buddy over to help. I'm sure hell get a kick out of it. I might just buy one myself

Really makes it tough to quit when you are active on a gambling forum. Just sayin.

Lot's of good advice. First things first. Shut off the computer. Spend more time with your girlfriend. Every time you feel the urge, think of all the money you lost and where you would be without blowing it.

The exercise is a good thing. Hit that hard. But the problem is this is Psycological and not physical. You need to train your brain away from this. Whatever that may be for you I hope you find it. But start with the people around you. And take a break from SBR, for sure. (sorry SBR).

And then you will have difficulty breathing and lose feeling in your entire body. A greenish liquid will start pouring out of your ears and nose. The itching from the rash will be so unbearable that you will just want to die. It's horrible withdrawals.
