    Everyone keeps saying that's what these players are worth

    It isn't. These are inflated contracts from a horrible deal between the NBA and ESPN/TNT, inflating peoples' cable bills who have no interest in the NBA but those two channels are a part of basic cable.

    NBAPA did and continues to do a great job. The NBA took ESPN to the cleaners. Ratings and TV ad revenue will continue to drop as more and more viewers are streaming at their convenience.
    Who in their right mind is going to pay top $$$ for an ad run during a regular season NBA snoozefest??

    BTW, everyone talks about a salary cap...99/102/107 mil...doesn`t mean shit if the Cavs spent 30+ mil over the cap.
