They dont need young guys, they have about a 2-3 year window before James starts to have a noticeable decline.

I can see Wade and Melo being bought out this season and joining Lebron.

Lebron needs more scorers who can create for themselves when he leaves the floor. Did you knows Cavs outscored Golden St for the entire series with Lebron on floor ? They fell apart every time he sat down.

Wade would be a great addition as he is built for the playoffs. You don't need him in the regular season. Wade has shown time and time again that he can bring it when needed. Much better than relying on Shumpert or JR. THE ONLY PROBLEM? Wade picked up his option and will remain a Bull. Why? Money. He's not going to leave $23 million on the table to get the vet minimum with Cleveland. That ain't happening and Cleveland wouldn't roll over assets to get him at this point.

I'd trade love for a case of beer and a pizza

seriously dude was not that big of a factor

not like he could be in the playoffs.

Grab an some easy rebounds hit a couple of post up wide open 3s

he he could do so much more.

I wouldnt worry about about cavs too much they'll add some pieces

You guys want to throw away a guy that averaged 20 and 10 ? You think that grows on trees ? Id be shocked if there was more than 5 guys in the league who averaged 20 and 10

No bigger stat that shows the decline of the big man in the NBA than this. There used to be dozens of guys that averaged 20/10 but almost impossible today as the NBA has gone more 3 point, MJ guard/small forward types and European, softer style play versus brute force. You just don't have many skilled big men in the league anymore.

Love is a rebounding magnet and has always been a scorer. He just does things nonchalant and doesn't make a spectacle of himself on the floor like most of the NBA stars. As a result, he looks soft and not as engaged as a Draymond Green bitching and whining every play. His stats speak for themselves and Cleveland would be a bunch of dumbasses to let him go.

People talking about trading Love for Melo?! Dumb move, Love is underrated and can shoot the 3. Difference was GSW bench stepped up whilst public had anticipated Cavs bench to be stronger. Should be looking glfor replacements for TT and bench. I would have fired Lue too for some of the dumb decisions when it mattered. Game 3 just highlights the difference. Kerr utilized most of his squad especially when his stars where tired which is why GSW didn't have any lapses. Now respect the dude.

^ Yep, I'm surprised Lue hasn't been called out for his shitty coaching in the Finals. He sat on his hands the entire series and did not make ONE change. he reduced his bench, while running at GS' pace, wore out his starters in each of the first 4 games. He didn't play Frye, who is a bad matchup but you have to give him some minutes. Then not to play Derrick Williams at all is just horrible. You have to let him guard Durant sometime in the series???

Damn. Someone already made a Love joke.

I'd trade him for basically anyone. If they could get someone at PG's level, then the other team better be getting a couple 1st round picks too.

LeBron did this to himself. Wanting Love over Wiggins was moronic from day one. Love isn't a winner. He padded his stats in Minnesota with uncontested rebounds.

I agree man. Lue made no effort in changing up rotations or trying something new when the current rotations were obviously not working. Adjusting during the game is a must. Its like Lue had a gameplan from the night before and stuck to it. But that only is a good idea when its working or your last name is Belichick

The Rockets and Cavaliers are discussing a trade that would send Iman Shumpert to Houston, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN (via Twitter), the proposed deal would net the Cavs a draft pick and a trade exception. Shams Charania of The Vertical (Twitter link) classifies the trade talks as “serious.”

Shumpert has been mentioned for weeks as a trade candidate for Cleveland, particularly with the team trying to reduce its potential repeater tax penalties. Sam Amico of AmicoHoops.net reports (via Twitter) that the Cavs have spent much of the day today discussing Shumpert deals with various teams.

Houston currently doesn’t have the cap room necessary to absorb Shumpert’s $10,337,079 salary, but the team stockpiled non-guaranteed contracts last week that could be used for salary-matching purposes.

A package of Tim Quarterman, Ryan Kelly, Isaiah Taylor, Shawn Long, and Chinanu Onuaku would theoretically be enough to acquire Shumpert from a cap perspective. Of those players, only Onuaku has a guaranteed salary for 2017/18, so the Cavs could waive the rest and clear approximately $9MM from their cap while creating a sizable trade exception.

Shumpert talks between the Cavs and Rockets have “significantly stalled” for now, tweets Shams Charania of The Vertical. Having reached an agreement with P.J. Tucker on Saturday night, Houston now has less of a need for a defensive-minded wing, reducing Cleveland’s leverage.

Are you serious?? They are championship contender as long as james is there. The rest of the east is too selfish they dont play team game, lebron got his team lockdown and play by his book. They will be championship contenders next 2 years atleast conference finals.
