Fairly new to the crypto game. Still learning. Just traded for some ICX as a five year investment hold.

Ive got some ETH, but I’m not too sure if it’ll ever breach $1k again. Still debating on holding it or breaking it up. Market research is a bitch. Lol.

Is there just no money in it being a minor of these cryptos?

Is it worth the investment in computer power and energy costs?

I'm tired of buying. I want to set up a room in the house strictly for crypto mining with any resources necessary.

    Anybody mining?

I’m pretty sure I took a blue whale ecstasy pill at least once back in the day.

Does that mean I’m invested in the ICO?

Most are are worried about being labeled a security or not. 2018 is where crypto finds its identity, anything beyond that is a crap shoot.

So much for being a miner. This is from years ago and it's only grown.

This also implies that China's cheap electricity and huge mining capacity make the "decentralized" currency fairly "centralized" with a few large miners and positions...

Worst part of being a miner is the lazy Pedro and his cousin Juan stealing/skimming my daily diggings.

    General question...

What's your favorite crypto exchange to buy and sell and what's your favorite wallet?

Thinking of using cex.io exclusively when available, anyone use it?

    I have been using Kraken.

Also using binance for crypto to crypto.

I don't use NAGA wallet, but may try to...any thoughts?

Having To many crypto currencies has bogged them all down. I think it will crash but still great for an unregulated currency to sportsbet with.

I am glad i sold. Interestingly all 4 traders that i appreciate their opinion have 7600-7800$ as crucial support for BTC. Meaning if BTC falls under 7600$ we are very likely getting much deeper and BTC most likely wont see near 10k$ this year. I dont wanna spread FUD here(we aint below 7,6k$ anyway) just wanna warn you it is not so unlikely to happen so act accordingly.

With the natural order that long term market manipulation eventually takes, technical analysis will become more and more valid.

As cryptos become more and more recognized as an asset class this will only get stronger.

The question is whether or not these pioneers, like bitcoin eventually become worthless and obsolete to new techs.

I suppose it will always look attractive, if the coin holders want it to, and the technical validity only helps those manipulators, and traders.

The finite supply will have an effect on this as well.

The one nice thing about Bitcoin is that it's safe because it's simple. The supply could be increased by a hard fork in the future.

Looks like McAfee is feeling particularly bullish today - "Institutional investors are preparing to enter the cryptocurrency market with a vengeance. They are generally long term investors and will be pumping billions into the market. Expect the top ten coins to go through the roof fairly quickly. The bulk of alt coins will soon follow."

    https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/998557114170822656

Who really knows though? Will be fun to see how the next few months play out anyway.

I hope he's right, but I just I have a hard time believing much he says. He still believes bitcoin will hit $1m by the end of 2020. There's just no way...

This is the greatest moment of our lives. If you're not cashing in big on crypto, you're seriously missing out. There are so many arbs out there between the exchanges. 30%+ arbs! Even if you just wanted to stick to trading bitcoin, you would be banking hard just buying the dips. Just in the past 2 weeks, we've seen nearly a $2k swing.

You're just dumb AF to say that cryptos aren't tradeable any longer. Dumb. AF.

Yeah, thats what I meant too. The day the price fluctuates so little that people start to complain it's got boring. Perfect for us just wanting it as a money transfer system.
