Pornhub partnered with Verge. While everything is going up, Verge went down.

what is the best cryptocurrency in the market?
I see bitcoins getting more and more attention in the media and some betting sites allowing deposits with this, but are there really any benefits of using bitcoins over ordinary money? Anyone here know this?

I would suggest going to coinmarketcap.com and and start by clicking each one and doing your own research to find which ones interest you the most that you'd be comfortable enough to put money into.

If you are just interested in transferring money to sports books, then bitcoin (BTC) is your best choice. Some books will take other coins, but not all of them.In addition, you can wager actual bitcoins at a couple of books Nitrogen Sports and Fairlay for example. If you use one of these you'll need to do mental calculations to get a sense of how much you are wagering in real money terms. For instance 0.1 BTC bet ~$800, 0.01 BTC betis about $80, and so on.

Bitcoin Cash Approaches $1,000 Ahead Of Hard Fork

Bitcoin Cash rallied ahead of the pending hard fork. Shutterstock

Bitcoin Cash climbed today, nearing $1,000 as traders purchased the digital currency in anticipation of next month's hard fork.

The alternative protocol asset (altcoin) rose to as much as $983.58 today, CoinMarketCap figures revealed.

At this point, Bitcoin Cash was up roughly 11.3% over the last 24 hours, additional CoinMarketCap data showed.

Further, the cryptocurrency had risen more than 60% from the recent low of $603.71 it reached on April 6.

[Ed note: Investing in cryptocoins or tokens is highly speculative and the market is largely unregulated. Anyone considering it should be prepared to lose their entire investment.]

    A Major Challenge

As digital currencies experience rising adoption, scaling remains one of the biggest challenges to their success, noted analyst Sebastião Coelho.

"Before we see mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, we need to see a significant reduction in the time it takes to process transactions," said Coelho, CMO of Flashmoni, a blockchain company creating financial solutions for the unbanked and underbanked.

Bitcoin Cash was created with these considerations in mind, using 8MB blocks instead of the 1MB blocks used by the more traditional Bitcoin.

The upcoming hard fork, scheduled for May 15, will give Bitcoin Cash 32MB blocks, expanding its capacity for processing transactions.

    Network Upgrades

Further, the network upgrade will add or reactivate several operation codes, noted James Song, founder and CEO of blockchain startup ExsulCoin.

"This means simplified smart contracts will be possible on the bitcoin cash blockchain," he stated.

"This particular bit of news is what is driving market excitement around bitcoin cash."

As traders look toward this upcoming hard fork, Bitcoin Cash is benefiting from rising "interest and volumes," stated Oliver Isaacs, blockchain investor, advisor and influencer.

Some of the TA guys (chart guys) on Youtube are predicting another dip or two. Others are predicting an uptrend. It's funny - seems things are either going to go up or go down. What's wrong with "sideways"? Just once, I'd like to here one of these guys say, "well folks, you can expect about 2 weeks of sideways action....." Sideways is under-rated.....

I'm not a fan of Bcash but all these patents that Craig Wright has pending are gonna make some waves in May (according to him) and I'm predicting this coin be headed for a steep run up relative to the market over the next 3,4 weeks. I know it's already doubled in 7 days but I'm betting there's still plenty of juice in the current price.

This will be fun to watch. Might end up being a race to see who can dump first. Wonder what the price will fall too.

Heard of a good tip today: Got a lot of "dust" floating around at Binance? If you do, go to your Funds-->Balances page at Binance. There's a button at the top that says "Small balances --- Convert to BNB". Click on "Convert to BNB" and you have the option to clear out all the small change you have and turn it into some spendable Binance Coin. Check it out...
