Is PATRICK WA the best goalie of all time?

Has to be Top 3 for sure, no?

Dominik Hasek. This would be hands down unanimous if he didn't get a late start to his career. He was the best

    Brodeur, Dryden, then WA.
Bower & Cheevers bring up the rear.

Got to throw Bernie Parent in the top 5. Two consecutive Cups, first one beating Cheevers. Would have won a third if not for an eye injury.

Cheevers wouldn't be considered in the top 50. Tretiak was as good as anyone but never played in the NHL.

Marty was the greatest goalie to ever lace up the skates.

Even if you despised him, and a lot did, the most underrated goal keeper of all time was Billy Smith

You can tell that spelling it "WA" as well as putting the name in caps is a desperate plea for attention.

Roy was one of the greats. No such thing as a superstar goaltender anymore in the new Gary Bettman fan friendly high scoring nhl.

These were some of the great of the last 2 decades imo

    Felix the cat
    Cujo
    Hasek
    Olie the goalie
    Richter
    Brodeur
I'm not adding Belfour to this list but some might
I would add Grant fuhr too but most probably wouldnt

You're just bitter because you want IAG to put you on the JOSEPH GURNEY but she shut you down.

    Sad.

Hated him. Guy was great though. I think at his peak nobody was better than the dominator. He had insane stats.

When Brodeur was in the zone, as was often the case, I don't think it gets any better. Brodeur playing well > Roy playing well.

Met WA once in Toronto at MINK Nightclub, which was co-owned by former poster MATHDOTCOM for a short period of time.

Yes but Roy beat him in the head to head series. Roy went into the meadowlands in game 6 facing elimination and shut out the devils.

Looking at hockey player ever, if you were to 'draft' a team, would you first draft Gretzky or the best goalie ever?

Hasek's mask when he was with Detroit. Funniest throat guard ever. Great goalie.
