Nobody ever talks about the Colorado Rockies

The Rocks have the best record in the National League. Piled up with a strong offense. I don't know if the offense is the reason for this record or if Buddy Black is responsible for the positive leadership. When Black was managing the Padres, the Padres were a huge mess.

Either way, I have been riding the Rocks this far and now I can see the line going up so I'm hitting the run line and the run line comes through too. Probably from now on Uncle Tony at 5Dimes will increase the line for the Rocks now because he might be reading this thread.

Their over 80 wins was my biggest Season wins wager out of 6 I made this year

Offense is dynamic , even with injuries and their new bullpen intrigued the hell outta me

I also got them to win the NL West @ +1000

Black had no players to work with in San Diego and had a record just shy of .500 after 8-9 years there. He is a damn good and underrated manager. The rockies also have a lot of talent and now they have a good manager too.

He had Adrian Gonzalez, Chase Headley, The Giles, and Khalil Greene. Not to mention Heath Bell who later became their closer once Hoffman retired. He had a team.

Gonzalez was a player..Headley had one amazing half of a season and otherwise he has been average at best..The Giles were washed up by the time they arrived in SD...Khalil Greene really? Bell was a good setup man and closer after Hoffman retired..

Khalil was one of the top SS in the NL during that time. His defense was spot on.
