airbnb and search for month long stay in shared room or private room, then find locations that have the best discount to stay a month. You should be able to find a great deal.

The key to lasting in Vegas, at 1st is to reduce your nut.

Figuring out how to eat for free and stay for free is crucial.

If you are able to do this your budget & money management will fall into place.
I would take advantage of sign up bonuses. Mostly downtown. This will help you get off to good start with some free plays & perhaps some food comps.
Always ask about sign up bonuses when you get to casino's players club.

Ballys used to have a poker promotion where if you logged 6 hours per day, you were comped a free room Mon-Thur ( add resort fee & tax ).
MGM Grand might still be running a poker room promotion for a monthly freeroll after logging 20 hours.
Monte Carlo still has the same kind of poker room freeroll.

But, like I said, focus on downtown where the promotions are better & spread across more individually owned casinos.

No parking fees downtown, if there is a fee, it's easily comped at front desk.
Places like 4 Queens & Binions don't charge resort fees, so if you wanna a stay at casino, look for those kinds of places.

Best advice I can give you is to not spend money on anything that you don't need to.
Eliminate luxuries that you usually afford yourself & if they are necessities find a way to have them comped.
    It's Vegas....where there's a will there's a way.

But you will also have to keep in mind one more important factor....

    You need to win.

If you are a losing poker player or a 50% capper, you will be living under an overpass in a week.
You will find out in the 1stcweknor two if you know how to manage your BR.

Only you know whether you are a winning gambler or not. Be honest with yourself before you attempt to make a Vegas run.

Walk the halls of the hotel rooms. Theres always free food left outside the doors of the rooms.

Left over room service. Usually 1/4 of it is not even touched.

This is true.. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered room service and over ordered and left half the meals in the hallway.

The closer you roam towards the expensive suites on the top floors the better scores of food you will find...You may even get lucky and find a half bottle of expensive flat champagne sitting in an ice bucket every now and then...

Opie commonly utilizes this tactic when he stays at the Nugget.

You move to Vegas with $1g in your pocket, you're ahead of 90% of the people there.

Moving to Vegas with 1k and no car or job? Enjoy being homeless.

Even bobby, who is mentally challenged, lined up work before moving cross country.
