So many posters over the years have made threads like this.

They all crash and burn or don't even make it out to begin with.

    All losers.

Corbin is the only one who beat the odds and made it in Vegas.

So your entire savings in 1k, probably because you pissed the rest away gambling, yet you just need to get to Vegas and then you will get it going

    Come on man

Can't imagine 1k is enough to move anywhere without a job already lined up unless everything you own fits in your car.

from what i hear it will be very hot in the summer there. not condusive to working or searching for work or sleeping in your car. i'd wait for football season when the crowds pick up and the hotels might be hiring more cleanup staff. but 1000.00 won't last and getting a job without an address may be troublesome.

This is the real reason the casinos started charging for parking on the strip

If you have a job lined up. If you don't, then I question why you're asking such a stupid question. You're going to have to find somebody who wants to rent a place to you as well. With $1000.00 and no job good luck.

A Geeee is skinny to make a big move with no job.. Hey but make it happen.. If there is a wil there is a way..

Find a room to rent for $200-$300 per month to start out and then find a job.. In no time you can find an apartment maybe to share.. Stay out of the Casinos and save your money instead...

Learn how to gamble like a pro eventually then work it and make a ton of money on the side. Invest in rental property, retire with millions and live the good life in the end... Very simple ..

There are some links to some of the big gaming companies in the area. 9 times out of 10 it's who you know to get those jobs, but worth a shot. If you're a degen it might be best to stay away from the casinos period, though.

As soon as you get there, put it all on 1 game, win 3 in a row and you'll have about 6-7k which will at least buy you a month or so to get a job and pay bills. If you lose, you'll be headed outta there quick before you get too banged up from struggling to make it. Good luck kid

I hate Vegas it's a dry hot desert with nothing but fat American tourists rolling thru, then on the outskirts you got drug addicts, prostitutes and crime.. It's dirty city, I'm out...

I'd go nuts without seeing trees, rolling hills and an Ocean.. Vegas overrated even if you are pro gambler... Pass... If I did live out there I'd live as close to Lake Mead as possible just to get a taste of wild life and open waters.. Even that is suspect..

That's my take on Vegas.. Unless you have a well paying job lined up pass on it.. It's a desert flat land of waste and garbage.. Good for vacationing, night time entertainment and buffets though if you got a pocket full of cash ready to throw away....

Chasing gambling pipe dreams mostly never pan out.. Percentages are very low..

Working hard, saving and investing smartly in life is your best bet...

Betting smart after that and having an income outside of sports gambling is the way to go..
