Cleveland can't compete with this team. Simply too many horses. Too much on LeBron's shoulders.
We can go position by position. Curry and Irving like I've always said is a wash. Guys jumped all over me when I said that last year and thought I was crazy to put Irving win Curry and then Irving went off in Games 5-7 and completely outplayed Curry in the series. But overall those two cancel each other out. Each will have their moments. Klay Thompson is head and shoulders above JR Smith. That matchup isn't that close. James and Durant is a virtual wash at this point. James brings more to the table all around but Durant will go off in this series. Green will hound Love. Tristan Thompson is a monster on the boards but that can do so much when you have no offensive game really.
This will be the first series all playoffs that LeBron has to really work on both ends. The Cavs played as hard as they possibly could to come back last year but they don't always give the effort they gave on defense last year in Games 5-7. Fighting through multiple screens takes its toll physically and mentally and it will just be too overwhelming with so many options on this Warriors team.
I expect Golden State to hold serve at home in a Games 1-2, Cavs to salvage a game at home, but give one up, and then Warriors to finish it off in Game 5.
