Warriors will only need 5 games to beat the Cavs

Cleveland can't compete with this team. Simply too many horses. Too much on LeBron's shoulders.

We can go position by position. Curry and Irving like I've always said is a wash. Guys jumped all over me when I said that last year and thought I was crazy to put Irving win Curry and then Irving went off in Games 5-7 and completely outplayed Curry in the series. But overall those two cancel each other out. Each will have their moments. Klay Thompson is head and shoulders above JR Smith. That matchup isn't that close. James and Durant is a virtual wash at this point. James brings more to the table all around but Durant will go off in this series. Green will hound Love. Tristan Thompson is a monster on the boards but that can do so much when you have no offensive game really.

This will be the first series all playoffs that LeBron has to really work on both ends. The Cavs played as hard as they possibly could to come back last year but they don't always give the effort they gave on defense last year in Games 5-7. Fighting through multiple screens takes its toll physically and mentally and it will just be too overwhelming with so many options on this Warriors team.

I expect Golden State to hold serve at home in a Games 1-2, Cavs to salvage a game at home, but give one up, and then Warriors to finish it off in Game 5.

Let's see what happens. That loss last night was the best thing that could have happened to the cavs. I'm not convinced curry and Durant will show up when it matters. Curry is a choker. He is scared stiff of James. Durant will get his points but he hasn't proven anything in his career when it matters. The cavs aren't scared of the warriors. Cavs are also a better 3 point shooting team and way deeper than GSW. GSw plays great defense but Cleveland will adjust by game 3 . The cavs will get a split for sure in GSW. I think the cavs win in 6.

Not so sure Cavs are deeper. I would say the two benches are a wash. Cavs bench can shoot better but they're not used to having their shots contested by good teams.

I get what you're saying about Durant but sooner or later everyone's time comes. This looks like Kevin Durant's time.

Sure but Cavs recent play may have lowered that price. Anything under -300 is a steal in my opinion. And Warriors in 5 odds should be decent.

I have a feeling that Kyle Korver will be the wildcard in the series. Cavs +245 to win NBA championship is the play in my opinion

right after the warriors dismantled the spurs: don't be delusional, these is a even series at best. gsw - cavs should be a pick em and we'll see why in the finals when cavs win or push this into a 7 game series... it's easy to play lights out against weaker competition. so don't go by the scorelines as most of the games will be blowouts, but that won't matter. it'll be fun when most change their prediction when it's
    1 - 1 after the 1st two games

T-Wizz the NBA needs this series to go 6 games if not 7.... because of the bullsh#$ Conference Finals.

    Disagree....gunna be a huge battle

When the Warriors won their title it was much more of a mismatch with no Love or Kylie and the series was competitive

Cavs won last year because warriors lost draymond green for that game and Harrison Barnes couldn't hit a wide open shot to save his life. I just don't see where the cavs can drop their defense to help on the more important players.

Starting to think Cavs may win this, Curry will be locked down a game or two, time will tell, gonna be a great series.

GSW won last year 4-1 if Green played men in game 5

Durant has no balls until proven otherwise.

Of course GSW look like a juggernaut, but after the last month of the season when we all watched Cavs play pathetic D and uninspired offense, they have definitely flipped the switch on D.
We might actually see some playoff fouls. Overall, Cavs a tougher team.

HAS to go 6 or 7.

lebron played at a crazy level during last year's finals, he would certainly need to do that again. Finals last year were close, now you add durant and it definitely seems like cavs don't have a chance this time. Cavs are going to need a game or two where curry or durant are off their game.

Cavs have a much deeper bench where they can go 9 deep. Do not discount D WILLIAMS and Korver. Those additions are huge in a long series.

This series will come down to the role players. Pachulia, Livingston, Iggy, McGee and especially Green are the keys to GS. Will refs allow them to set moving screens and let them crash into shooters without getting called? Can Shumpert, Korver, Frye, DWill, JR, knock down shots especially on the road? I see this going 6 or 7.

Too early to tell. Big questions are, will Curry choke? He's choked the last two finals. Will Klay continue to struggle? If neither play good in the finals, I don't see them beating the Cavs.
