dangerous because the Rockets have shown twice

they have the recipe to bake the Spurs.

Are you really calling catching fire from 3 a recipe? And thats why Dantoni wont ever win a thing, because to him its that easy too.

Picking a side in this series is as much of a toss up as the Rockets shooting lights out. So far this playoffs they have shot bad more times than they have good though. Something they could get away with against the Thunder but cant against the Spurs or Warriors next rd.

    Gonz the line is overjuiced
Spurs do not deserve a dime over -170
    they have been exposed.
Like you said if the Rockets hit their 3's, they will WIN.

GL Homie, I like Spurs but can't find myself laying -220. Will wait for an opportunity to pounce on live.

I don't trust either team. Taking the over seems like the way to go, as have yet to disappoint as we know it's taxing for the Spurs can't hold the Rockets to under 100 points. Over has cashed in almost, if not all the games so far, and 215 looks a decent number

That may be true, I wouldnt even touch this game though and definitely wouldnt lay the juice for the ml.

My point was that just up to this point in the playoffs do you trust the Rockets shooting enough? I sure dont. I still think they win the series actually, but I wouldnt risk money based on a recipe of hitting 3s as the difference. Both games they won, they were +30 and up from 3. That is asking a lot, even for an offense designed around jacking up 40+ 3s a game.

    true Gonz
I only have a series bet thus far
tonight I plan to hit it live at some point.

it is risky either way pre-match.

Horrible spot to lay juice like that. If you wanna lay that kind of juice take Spurs series price instead. Spurs definitely win one of the next 2 but I wouldn't be confident it's the next one.

I think more likely scenario is Rockets come out firing 1st half and you'll at least get a much better line for a 2H bet.

Not saying Spurs don't win but with that level of juice your probability just isn't there (you're saying
Spurs win over 68 percent of the time in this spot don't see that at all). Might as well just take the spread and manage risk if you're that confident.

Two reasons I laid big juice:

    1. Winner of gm 5 usually Wins series. Both teams know this. Spurs hm crt trumps

    2. Pop teams off blowouts are very strong especially in playoffs

I hope the Rockets win - they will give a much more exciting series

If the Rockets can blow out the Spurs from beyond the arc,
can you imagine how easy it will be for the Warriors ?

Spurs made good defensive adjustments on the pick and roll planting a defender under the high screen in games two and three to limit Harden driving and opening up easy kick out catch and shoot 3's, but the Rockets solved that in game 4 by taking a bunch more pull up 3's.

I'm not saying the Spurs can't take it, but they'll have to be hitting their shots to win, Rockets will score at 105 if they lose, 115-120 if they win. I think the over is the play.

Not sure if you are responding to my last post or OP?. I'll answer back anyways just in case..

Probably failed last week as I can't really remember.. I know I guaranteed the Warriors would sweep last night and cover the spread... Mentioned that in several threads yesterday and that cashed with flying colors..

There is so much fail here in this post. Snowball stick to posting -250 plays in PT.

Dubs are an absolute HORRID matchup for the Rockets. Do yourself a favor and go back and watch/track the matchups between the 2 this year.

"How easy it will be beyond the arc". Uh...the Dubs defend the 3 better than anyone in the league.

    Get real.

Of course the dubs defend the three well. They are used to standing out there anyways.

Why the penetrate do people play Spurs with Parker gone and after the previous matches. Actually ridiculous. Rockets +5.5 was free money.
