As a ex cinti bengal tick owner of 13 year you should be beetch slapped. This p.o.s had his worker pick up empty plastic bottles and fill it up with tap water, Then sell it to public for 5.00 a pop. He fired the only good coach he ever had in sam wyche. He was part of reason forrest gregg left when his dad ran the team. When they made super bowl he bitched about the extra money it cost. This guy males ex clippers owner look like a saint

It is strange that he's kept Lewis around so long, I wonder how he justifies it. I wonder how the Bengal fans feel about Lewis, I dont ever hear too much of an uproar from them, but I dont follow them so I dont know.

I have met marvin a few times. Very nice guy but couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. BUT he has good eye of talent. He always tries to challenge calls and loses. Always misuses timeouts. He has no control of the team because mike brown over rules him. If you remember when the bengals lost in playoffs to pittsburgh after carson palmer was knocked out. ocho took a swing at hue jackson in locker room at halftime. They let hue walk instead of disciplining ocho.

JJ, I like it. One of the reasons Cincy selects these "thugs":

    * Can always sign em cheap at contract time.

Good business! As you'd say "Business as usual."

Speaking with Sirius XM on Thursday, head coach Marvin Lewis delved into the Bengals’ decision to select controversial running back Joe Mixon with the 48th pick in the draft (via Conor Orr of NFL.com). The ex-Oklahoma Sooner was caught on video striking a woman back in 2014, which caused some teams to remove him from their draft boards. Not the Bengals, though, and Lewis explained that “a lot of time” and “a lot of research” went into picking Mixon. “Time spent with Joe. Time researching people around Joe. Joe’s past in East Bay [California],” he continued. “All those kinds of things that way. His past on campus at Oklahoma since the incident. So, there couldn’t be any other red flags to say, ‘Well, well, maybe…’ No, no, no. It had to be clean, and Joe knows that. He knows going forward, it has to stay clean all the time. He’s lived on the tip of the sword for three years now, and he’s got to continue to probably for the rest of his life.” If Mixon can avoid further off-field troubles, Lewis expects him to succeed in the pros, in part because “he’s off the charts talent-wise” and “as smart as a whip.”

The Bengals will never win with Dalton. Red heads cannot lead teams to victory in NFL.

Bengals are one of the worst run franchises in NFL because of their owner.

Only owner with a 24'' black and white, cathode ray, tv hanging over the field. He probably has it tuned into a free streaming site as well. Mike Smith would rather make money than win football games.

Cincinnati is cheap. They do not want to pay for decent talent so they scrape the bottom of the barrel and sign the scum for a lot less money. They have one of the worst HC's in NFL history, but he works cheap, and that is all that Brown is interested in. IF JJ likes them, you can put the mortgage on fading them.

You are reaching. Brad Johnson was a place holder who happened to be in the right place at the right time. The other 2 guys played in an era where the league was mostly white and slow.

take a look at those losses and do the math on the differential. 6 loses within 16 points. Injuries, again, killed us last year but marvin owns two of the losses from bad coaching.

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis seems less secure in his role. Lewis is in a contract year, but owner Mike Brown indicated Tuesday that he’ll go at his own pace on a potential extension for the coach, per Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. Still, Brown is satisfied with Lewis, who trails only the Patriots’ Bill Belichick in tenure among head coaches. “That should tell you how I feel about him. He has my respect, my regard, my confidence,” said Brown. “We’ve been through this before. Sometimes it was an additional prod. Heck, we all know how it went last year. We wish it had gone better, so maybe we’ll see a better year this year and things will sort out then.” The Bengals stumbled to a 6-9-1 mark in 2016, snapping a five-year playoff streak and giving them a 118-103-3 record during Lewis’ 14-season stint. Amazingly, the team has lost all seven of its postseason games with Lewis at the helm.
