I will call him the most exciting/entertaining player ever. You never know what Russ is going to do. Jordan the greatest and Lebron really good. But as far as exciting, Russ is beastmode 24/7

Westbrook is a monster. Guys who act like he's just a ballhog who pads his stats, show me the other players who could get a triple-double basically at will just for a nice boxscore. Oh, right, there've only been a few in the history of the game, and some of those didn't play against athletes nearly as big/strong/fast as what RW plays against

I obviously rank MJ and Lebron above him, goes without saying, but people need to appreciate what this guy did this season, because it's insane

Your to young to have watched him but the best player to ever play the game came from ky. His name was oscar robertson. Let me tell you the difference. In those days you only got an assist if the guy took 1 dribble or shot right away. Also there weren't as many teams so you were going against stacked teams.

Stacked teams? Don't be stupid. Oscar played against far worse athletes on average. There weren't many teams, yeah, and professional basketball wasn't such a lucrative career in that era, competition was lower, salaries were lower. Now, from high school onward, you're fighting against a million of the best athletes and shooters in the country, many of whom got the best training there is, just to pray you can warm a bench in the NBA

They were better ball players. The could shoot and this was before the 3 point shot. if they had the rules of today where you couldn't touchanyone he would of ave a hell of a lot more assist and points.. You didn't get a free run at the basket because the big guys were going to kill you. The scoring was better, Go watch some reruns of basketball back then, Michael jordan said oscar was the best he ever seen.

edit, maybe I havent watched enough of Oscar, much wasnt at real speed at the time, I found some stuff at real speed, different rules back then also with dribbling and all, couldnt do stuff back then that they do today.

You've always been a little off with your sports, but this is insane, you must be just messing with people.
Almost looks like a "look at me" post because its such a horrific statement.
If Iverson was the same age as Westbrook and playing in this league right now he would be shitting all over him.
Neither could/can win (props to Iverson for coming close that one year with absolutely no one on his squad and making the finals), and no star is ever gonna be able to play with Westbrook and be happy about it.
Westbrook is gonna be a cancer his whole career.
Not to mention hes full of fkn shit also.
Saw him at press conferences trying to say he doesnt give a shit about scoring title or MVP, then I see him making his teammates run away from rebounds so he can get them. FOH man
Durant was a genius. Got out when he could.
Westbrook will be good for entertainment, but never to win a ring.

Kids in school should be made to watch MJ playoff games. It's technically American history. Plus it would eliminate all these young bucks who try to say Kobe, Lebron or any other guy nowadays is better than the GOAT.

Westbrook doesn't make the players around him better. Not a winner. Tremendous athlete, ferocious competitor but doesn't know how to win whether it's with All-Stars around him or bums around him. Sometimes winning means not jacking up 30 shots

Magic was the best at making others around him shine. He made several teammates into All-Stars that never would have been otherwise.

Dumbest post of the week. Magic played with great players and very good players and He was always surrounded by scorers and great role players. Jerry West is one of best GM's of all time and found talented players like Jamaal Wilkes, Mychal Thompson, Byron Scott, AC Green, Michael Cooper, James Worthy to play with Magic and Kareem.
No one is saying Russ is close to Magic. He has a GM that can draft very well, but is terrible at trades and free agency. He loses Harden first, then Ibaka and Durant and his response is Oladipo and Sabonis? He could have had Lou Williams for a ham sandwich. But the rich got richer as Houston grabbed him. Rockets GM has ran circles around him.

westbrook was so clutch that he got fouled at the end of the game twice. He went 1-2 each time. Harden could easily put up triple doubles but doesn't because he believes in team. He has cast aways from other teams and has made them better. Without harden this team wouldn't win games

I love Russ but if you think he is better than Lebron, you are either an attention whore or plain dumb.

I expect posts like this from jj.
