Rule #1 is don't lay more than 2:1 on any one individual baseball game.

Nash crazy respect , but this prob dumbest statement ever

there are several opportunities (mostly end of season )

that present a 2/1 fav that should be closer 3-4/1

    call ups/motivation etc

people continue to say (not you) value has to start w/ a + sign

gl buddy and hope all is well

A better rule is home RL's, (but once again, exceptions)

Certainly agree value can come in form of a fav. I'm with nasher tho I honestly don't ever think or see value laying more than 2-1 on a baseball game, the sport is simply too random. Of course I all but stop betting bases by aug. and lot of it is cause exactly what you are saying.

Just don't agree w/ absolute statements in This game or life

    everything is situational

    not coming at anybody

I totally get what you both saying

    No offense taken.

Was it not Bummy and Kershaw both at over -200 lost on the same night last week?
If you flatted those two alone, you would need to hit your next 4 in a row just to break even. (if you are flat betting favorites.)

    Just a side note:

i know you guys know, but ZG's anxiety disorder is more likely to effect him negatively than positively...

It's not a go get these guys attitude , plus he got paid from Zona...

I could write more , but would come off as preaching..,

id be more likely to back any other d backs starter in this situation

Playing snakes rl had little to nothing to do with greinke for me. Just taking cheap runs with a good young team playing good ball at start of season.

    *up to* 200
    What was the closer -224
Would you have laid more than 200?

Secret to my success is I look for dogs that have say a 40 percent chance of winning and getting more than 170.
If you are a dog and are getting +175 would you take it when the win probability is 3:2 against (or +150) which is the correct odds of a team winning a game entering with a 40 percent win probability,

Just give me a scoreless tie at the end of five, collect my +120, don't give a flying fuk what happens from there on out.

Do yourself a favor and listen to Monday/Steiner/Kennedy

    forget espn broadcast

    used to love SNB Morgan/miller

    lots hated but I enjoyed

    RIP HK

    quick story

my grandfather (member of pine valley) once picked up Harry kalas and HK made him stop at every liquor store on way for 6 pack

his drink/smoke was Tang n Tonic and parliament lights during broadcasts

    great man HOF

Listened to Charlie Steiner with Sterling 15 years ago call Yankee games.

Kaat and Costas was the best, Ken Singleton doesn't get the respect he deserves.
Hate the Mets, but Gary Cohen is a giant behind the mic.
