So just checked the NBA futures.....

Seriously cavs -305 to win east and gstate -315 to win west. I know this was kind of what everyone expects but I've never seen odds this high. The NBA is such garbage. How can anyone watch this shit knowing well aware that basically every series is over and it doesn't matter. The NBA should have the worse ratings ever yet people will watch. Why???

Hopefully they both don't make the finals.

NHL playoffs way better. True team sport not a bunch of stars controlling the sport.

So the teams with the best players usually win? Why is that bad?

Because its the same teams and theres no real chance of any other team. I'm ok with the best players winning but you want the "what if" to be a little bit better odds then getting struck by lightening

good luck to you but i strongly disagree. Feels like dead money to me. Just books throwing out big odds to draw "lottery" money

true, adding more value to the 1, 3 and 4 seed is fine with me.

I see your point but this is the first in a long time there is legitimate value betting against Lebron in a futures bet at least since the Lebron/Bosh/Wade team was FIRST assembled they were far to public in that first year but its always a 1, 2, 3 or 4 seed except in 1999 the 8 seed Knicks got there ticket cashed.

Oh I see what you mean... Kinda like the Patriots in the NFL (6 straight conference championships and 2 Super Bowls). Or the Blackhawks in the NHL (3 Stanley Cups in 6 years).

you mean Patriots consecutive DVISION championships? becuz that is seriously different then conference championships. winning a division only means you are an automatic playoff seed.

I dont care about conference championships. And im even okay with 3 cups in 6 years because theres been a gap. No gap in the nba. 3 straight gstate and cavs finals and 6 straight years of lebron in the finals.

And to go on this more each year in the nfl, mlb, nhl theres at least reasonable chance that other teams have a shot. Just look at SBR, theres always a mix of opinions. But with the nba everyone says the same thing. Lebron on one side and gstate on the other. just getting old. If you like your predictable sports thats your choice but i dont enjoy knowing most of something before watching.

Cav's are the 2 seed. Lebron has been to 5 straight finals as a 2 seed.

Those 3 teams at the prices you quoted combined as an entry would be odds of +175, for almost the same price of +160 you can get every team in the east vs. Cleveland. Obviously getting 4 more teams for close to the same odds is the better bet.

Lol. The Patriots going to the AFC championship/Super Bowl isn't predictable? Same shit every year. All I ever hear about is how great the parity is in the NFL and yet it always comes down to the same teams with the same great quarterbacks.

of course. the parity is within the teams with superior leadership in any league along with the movement of players, not any team in any league. your constant reference to the Patriots is too easy, everyone knows once Belichick and Brady are gone that franchise will be irrelevant for a considerable amount of time. as for the NBA Warriors, this is theyre window and it aint gonna be open forever.

Are those two-way lines. I'd bet against each at +270 or better each very very large.

Bettors don't make any money when these teams win I guess. I think the east needs to watch out for the Bulls. They just limped in but now have Wade who they missed for half the year. And a solid core of players. I think Boston goes out first round. Y'all heard it here first.

I think theres only 3 series that have any chance of an upset. Toronto/Buck, Clippers/utah, wiz/hawks. The rest of the series are like bye weeks in my opinion. That being said the 3 series that i mention have no effect on the end result of the playoffs

wouldn't be a shock at all. Boston least talented 1 seed in awhile. similar to the Hawks, but possibly less balance. I'm surprised more people aren't on the bulls.
