Clippers - Suns blatant game fixing
Anyone watching this? Suns are obviously tanking for draft picks, but they just had TJ Warren (who shoots 80%) on FTs, miss 4 in a row with under 5 minutes to go in the game. All of them were long.
I've seen some tanking, but this is pathetic. This is willfully trying to lose.

Give a good effort for 3 quarters and then make sure to lose the 4th. There were a ton of questionable plays in the 4th. TJ Warren's 4 straight missed FTs, Devin Booker fouling himself out with 5 minutes left, and it was 2 point game and Chriss had his arm reached in to Chris Paul, which made it every easy for Paul to pull up thru his arms and draw a foul.
I think the Clippers should be able to beat the Suns straight up without help, but that was really pathetic. The Lakers do the same thing too.
If word of this came out...so many would go down. Really we think this?
They covered the 10 points that's all that mattered...

i would hope not, but gamblers LOVE calling a fix when they lose money on NBA games. Yet keep gambling on them. Lol
NBA is a terrible product now
They need a whole knew revamping of the brand

same with cleveland right now... were up 6 + points at the break then tank in the 2nd half. something tells me they trying to avoid miami in the 1st round. or they could be just terrible.
Everytime I read these threads, I just laugh and shake my head.
Just because the team you bet on chokes down the stretch, doesnt mean a fix was in....seems one of these threads pops up every night.

Nah, feels good to be on a winning side of a ref fix. Anyone who's gambled long enough will know that ur gonna be on both sides at times. Just have to move onto the next play regardless of outcome.makes them feel better I guess
Gambling longevity should develop a tolerance or numbness to what is perceived to be a fix. Only thing to rly do is shake ur head and chuckle
Bunch of soft divas... Still the NBA is fun when you have players like James Harden, Westbrook, Curry and others going off in the playoffs. Still entertaining at some level.. NBA isn't in the gutter just yet..
I agree with Shady. There is some fixing going on in NBA games, but definitely not the players. If players were blatantly fixing games we would have had a whistleblower by now. Refs on the other hand, they are fixing the games based on word from top NBA execs. It's been done before so why not keep doing it??
im sure you believe online casinos are 100% legit as well...if you don't believe teams have ever tanked on purpose for draft picks or other reasons, then I don't think you fully understand the situation...
also if I'm an NBA exec, I would love for teams to play as close to the spread as possible, knowing that a large percentage of viewers are gambling on the game, keeps them watching and hooked...seems like a no brainer to me whether there is a fix or not....

Why wouldn't you believe online casinos are 100% legit? They have a built in edge in every single game they offer (and players gladly accept that -EV proposition), why would they need to implement any foul play?
As for NBA being fixed, some games will look that way because of teams tanking late in the season for various reasons.
Except I bet the Clippers ML live because I saw the fix.
80% foul shooter misses 4 FTs in a row. At that point Tony should have shut off live betting because he was giving away free money.

I guarantee Earl Watson made sure his guys last night did enough to lose that game. If you watched the last 5 minutes of the game, it was more than obvious. Do I think he told his guys that if the game was close to make sure to miss at the line - absolutely. And nobody will whistleblow because they'd get blackballed by the league.I agree with Shady. There's a way to tank where you just don't play your best players. Suns have been doing that for awhile. But last night had simply obvious plays that are consistent with fixing. Tank plays. "Hey Devin, you got 5 fouls. Make sure you foul out. Hey TJ, if you get fouled and the game is within 5 points, make sure you miss at the line".
All these guys are on guaranteed deals. There's no incentive for them to go against what the organization wants, especially a fringe player like TJ Warren. If you just watched him shoot those FTs, 4 in a row - none of them were even close.
All games aree fixed but we are hoping we are on the right side of the fix.

We are actually talking about two different fixes here.
The fix that started this thread is that the Suns lost on purpose to get a better draft pick. Which, if you watched the game, that was obvious. The other fix is actually fixing the game so a certain team covers or don't play defense so the game goes over. Let's stick to the first fix for the sake of this thread.

how do you avoid miami when you dont know which seed miami going to end up to be?? They just suck, Miami could end up 7th or 8th seed or not even making playoffs, or even make it all the way up to 5th seed, they are only down 2 games afterall from 5th seed. There's no avoiding when you dont know yet, dont make it up.
This wasn't betonline like the narrator says but a live casino which is used by middle man companies. I'm pretty sure betonline gave them the boot once they found out. That dealer may be sleeping with the fishes outside of San Jose right now after all the money he lost offshore books with that little trick
