Why Has No One Picked Up Adrian Peterson?

I known he goes to Seattle this week to work out but when healthy he seems pretty good,

I would sign him and then sit him until the last 2 games.

It's the personal baggage as well. 9 kids, beatings, kids dying, scandals, injuries, greed, pride and age. In addition, he cannot catch out of the backfield nor block, which makes him worthless if you pass 60%.

He's a goal to go rb, if he didn't fumble so much. Career over.

Raiders better not sign him. Other fans want him, but they're crazy. Wish they would just pay Latavius, and move on. Or just draft a big back. We have two speedsters, but Murray is great at the goal line, and short yardage situations.

AP is old, and fumbles too much. Not worth the money unless he wants to win, and takes a cheap short-term deal.

He will sign with a team once he realized he's not going to make anywhere near what he did in Minny. Guessing someone would sign him for a couple million a year with a lot of incentives 1 or 2 year deal.

The draft is deep in potential running backs this year. Why sign Peterson when you can draft a fresh running back for a fraction of the cost, and much less tread on the tires?

At this point in AP's career he's more suited as a #2 RB in a rotation, but ego and money will prevent that. If he wants to continue playing, he will have to accept the facts.

His kids he did see he would beat the shit out of, and the kids he never met were getting killed. Patriots would never knowingly pick up garbage like that

They refurbished Randy Moss and got more mileage out of him. Maybe, it would work. He is such a hunt and peck runner - kinda like the Steelers guy. Steelers are somebody that could make something out of him as a backup.

Probably up to AP where he goes. Working on his timetable now. He won't have a problem getting signed. But I agree with him being to risky for the price. Too many miles on him.

Yeah, it is a deep draft. The two from Oklahoma, Connor, Dayes, Hunt. Marlon Mack is a beast, and projected 4th to 6th round. No need to waste money on a RB this year. All types out there that can be found in the 4th round, and up. AP is gonna have to take a nice pay cut. Hope the Raiders snag Mack. I like Connor too. So many options out there when you have a good OLine.

I feel bad for RBs. Such a short shelf life. They have to get paid as much as possible. The days of keeping a stud are gone. Plug, and play.

Adrian Peterson will visit with the New England Patriots on Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday.

The veteran running back remains unsigned after the Minnesota Vikings declined to pick up his option for the 2017 season.

Peterson ran for 72 yards on 37 carries for the Vikings in 2016. He missed significant time after undergoing knee surgery in September. After returning for Minnesota's Week 15 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, he was out for the team's final two games.

The Patriots signed Rex Burkhead earlier in the offseason, but New England likely views Peterson as a better potential replacement for LeGarrette Blount, who became a free agent after the 2016 campaign.

You all should embrace who you are and not pull punches. Go ahead and give the sticks to all the criminal illegals you refused to detain that week while they kneel for the national anthem
