    NCAAB: Gonzaga 16-0 (11-2 ATS) vs St. Mary's 15-1 (8-4 ATS)

    Gonzaga on a tear against the spread covering the last nine and nation best 11-2 ats. Will they continue? Line opened -6 and sitting at -7.5 now.

    Mary hasn't played anybody but still doing good. Gonzaga is deep and looks to easy.

    St Marys usually play Zags tough, and its not like Gonzaga has played the toughest schedule in America. They spend most of their time beating up on teams that are shit

    They beat Florida, Arizona and Iowa state at neutral court. Not much to go with but arizona and florida wins were impressive. They also beat Tennessee at tennessee.
    St. Mary's lost at home to texas arlington and basically didn't play any big times. But this could be close game.

    This is arguably zags best team ever. Best team I've ever watched at least. Tremendous guard play with one of the best true point gaurds in the nation. On the wings they got stretch 4s 7 feet tall. Down low most teams can't hang with Karnowski who has he soft touch and great passer. SMC biggest mismatch they have on most teams is a talented scorer down low, but here they run into height that matches them and a great rebounding team.

    Revenge angle has no play here as SMC swept the home and away last season but then Zags beat them in WCC tournament effectively erasing the Gaels chance at a ticket to the big dance.

    SMC plays great against lesser competition but havent played much higher level competition. UTA beat em on Mary's home court and zags are a similar good rebounding team but better scorers with minimum 3 3pt shooting threats on the floor at all times.

    Zags have some great ft shooters and could cover the spread late if necessary. Zags -5 seems like a gift to me.

    Gonzaga has been making me money all year, they brought their students back early for this game and opened up the standing room only sections of the building, this will be a record crowd at the Kennel.

    Gonzaga -5 is an absolute gift.

    Dude saying Gonzaga hasn't played anyone is clueless.. Saint Mary's hasn't played anyone.. there is one team with an inflated record in this game and its the Gaels.

    Line has underestimated Gonzaga all year.

    My favorite thing about watching these games is listening to these announcers. You would think by the end of the game that Zags are undefeated in the toughest league in America. If I have to hear that they are going to the final four one more time I might laugh myself to death. This guy says there is only 2 teams that would hinder Zags from getting there? I know that UNC would bitch slap this panzy team. Put them in the ACC and they would have finish with 5 or 6 loses. Get out of here with this stupid shit. Its the same thing every year and then they get send home because their are no more cupcakes to feast on. Jesus

    Ya, first off, my comments had nothing to do with betting Zags. I haven't touched any of their games. But I wasn't aware that we were counting ISU and Tennessee as good wins. Just saying, same shit different year. They will win every game in their league, get a top tier seed in the tourney and be gone before the sweet 16.

    I'm guessing you haven't been following them very closely so it can be excused.

    That being said, They have final four potential without a doubt. But, they shouldn't move up beyond their #5 ranking they have right now.

    They played a pretty good non-conference schedule and won every game.

    The nice thing about this team this year is they are getting painted with the same brush as people have in previous years.. which means the lines are very friendly and very nice to make money on.

    I've watched Gonzaga twice and they are verrry good. two best teams i've watched all year are gonzaga and ucla. hard to spot a weakness. Conferences don't matter as much since the one and dones. no super teams anymore and small conferences more often have juniors and seniors that can ball where the best in the power 5 are off to the nba after frosh or sophomore year. I hope zags and ucla end up in west bracket for a classic regional final.

    Don't get me wrong, they are a solid squad. They always are and have a good coach. I like watching them play but the hype gets a little too much for me with these announcers. The #1 talk and final four talk come on now. Its a little too much when a guy is saying there are only 2 teams in the country that would give Zags problems not to reach the final four. I could think of several more than two. That was my point.

    i just never thought i would see a day when 3 of the best teams in the country are on the west coast. oregon has two losses when brooks was out, but they are a top 5 team. kansas and baylor are complete frauds and kentucky will not win it all again with all their youth. steve alford is like a kentucky west with all the kids he's recruiting.
