The quicker points come the quicker they can be taken away, if you do not stick with what got you there in the 1st place.
He said not to take the points. Btw, Coaches coach these games very different than they would a regular season game or playoff game. Just annoying that people aren't pointing this out when they are gushing over some of these bowl games. As much as coaches would like to win these games - it's different.
We are getting crappy playoff games because they have a full month to prepare ( that's part of the reason).
Ohio State -Clem would have been a very different game if played a week or two after Michigan game.
40 seconds left and usc had no timeouts left. the call there is either a run or a safe play like a screen pass not what they called!! they either get the first down and go from there or the clock runs out and go to OT.
Could not agree more.... On a larger platform than betting, I fail to understand the way the game of football is played near the end of games. It's almost advantageous to be 2 points behind with 4 minutes left rather than 2 points ahead. The ahead team starts playing differently than they have played the entire game. They go into this whole "prevent" defense which, as best I can tell, is just an excuse to give up four 18 years pass plays to allow a FG..... or worse.
The game just takes on a whole different feeling. This spans college and pros. And NOBODY ever seems surprised by this. Announcers just act as thought it's normal. WTF??????
If it's so beneficial and rewarding to play like this at the end of the game. Why don't they just play like this the whole game??????

The real end of the story is that you are a Big 10 homer and a dumb arse and cannot accept the fact that the PAC 12 is better than the Big 10. The Big 10 had the worst record of all of the Power 5 Conferences in the Bowls. Penn State will be a great fade next season.
