    I thought the first one was offensive interference...and pretty obvious. However the last play the bama defender was actually picked by his own team mate who grabbed and held the Clemson receiver.

    It was a good no call imo. At worse Clemson would have kicked the FG and taken it into OT. Bama did not beat them. If you are a true champion you do not allow your opponent to drive 80 yards in the last 2 minutes with the game on the line.

    Clemson won the game fair and square.

    1st one was PI, game winner I agree with a no call there. Saban should have called a timeout and figured some shit out or at least let his D rest for a minute. They still had a TO didn't they?

    Even if a receiver is jammed at the line he cannot just block the guy. The ND guy was blocking and never was running a pattern or tried to seperate from the defender. If he would have knocked the defender off at contact and the FSU player picked his own player they would not have called anything. Blocking a defender and knocking back a defender and not engaging him are 2 separate things.

    Also, let's talk about how poorly the last play was defended. In that situation it is pretty much guaranteed that the inside guy will be cutting off the outside guy. The Alabama guy was too far off and HE got manhandled within the contact zone. He did not iniate contact and got blown up into his own guy. That is horrible defense and to lose that battle so badly with the receiver guarantees a TD. The receiver immediately disengaged after contact eliminating a blocking call. No flag for any of that ever.

    Most pick plays have a receiver blocking or running into a defender. Contact on both sides is allowed one on one within 5 yds. The Bama guy got blown up and picked his own teamate.
