Rose is damaged goods, but he is still good enough to compliment Butler and the rest of the team.

Bulls should keep him. Noah will be back and they have a good chance of getting to the finals next season.

Salary dump by the Knicks? Can't imagine they'd sign Rose to a long-term deal.

Not a bad trade. He only has 1 year left and Knicks gained a draft pick

    Noah will not be back.

Rose and Butler did not play well together at all. They also were causing friction in the locker room. Get Rose and his meddling brothers out of Chicago!

    I like Grant a lot

Call me crazy but if the Bulls want some hometown talent they should look at Jahlil Okafor. I don't think the Milwaukee Bucks will get rid of ex-Chicagoan Jabari Parker anytime soon.

They got him for nothing. Can't believe they didn't even have to give up a 2nd rounder. Absolute highway robbery. Even if he doesn't suit up for a game next season the deal isn't that bad for them.

He still has good games, just lacks consistency. Definitely don't understand what the Bulls are doing here. Their roster was spent and going full rebuild was certainly an option but you can't tell me they couldn't get picks for Rose instead of this collection of garbage.

Agree 100%. Normally I would say the Knicks were doing their normal suicide act, but they give up nothing here. The Bulls are insane not to ask for more. He isn't worth much, but desperate teams usually give up too much.

They wanted Grant in the draft last year, but they missed him by a few picks.... so they basically think they got 2 #1's from last year in their fold now..

I think the Bulls see how Grant came along last year and think he could be another hard working late bloomer like Butler. He finished the season pretty strong. Averaging 15 points per game in April

    Smart move on Jackson's part.

Just in case people might have 2nd thoughts about NOT FILLING SEATS...

Now gives you a reason to go.

That's all the NBA is about now... filling seats. Ain't about Championships.

    he won't sell seats

no one wants to see a guy play it so safe and conservative and settle for 18 foot bad jumpers because he is scared to get hurt 1 year before he thinks he gets another big contract, and so that he can sit in meetings and graduations in 15 years and not be "all sore"

guy is a puss and will sit out a ton of games this year for things like "general soreness" because he is just about getting paid and doesn't care to win or play hard

NY fans will hate him worse than Chicago, soon enough

I think when there's a new player... it excites the city. People will want to go. Plus, doesn't his contract end in 1 season?

I think that's what Jackson wants to see..... they can get rid of him and open up more cap room. Or sign him for a cheaper contract.

I do agree that NY fans will smell a rat soon enough. It will take about a year though.

Knicks sell out every game anyways, don't they have a sell out streak in the hundreds?

Worth a shot for NY. They needed to get someone in to play the point and they gave up very little to get a guy who still has time to turn his career back around. Not like the Knicks are a championship caliber team anyways.

Bulls weren't going to resign that cancer anyways. Rose was more concerned with his next big contract than he was in winning games, or playing in them for that matter.

knicks add a former mvp who is only 27 and still have 28 million of cap space IF they can get another very good player they are playoff bound. hernangomez will replace lopez and rose is an absolute upgrade over calderon and grant. dwight howard has said he wants to come to ny i dont like him he is a cancer but if phil can get in durants ear and let him know rose contract is done after this year and the knicks will make a big push for westbrook you never know what can happen. as a knicks fan and season ticket holder we didnt give up anything for a guy who can average 15 and 5 im a very happy camper
