What's David Carr up to these days? Seems natural to replace one Carr with another.

Giant and I don't always get along but he does have a very good point here.

They do that and it could be a superbowl real quick.

    It's true.

I didn't have time to even think of that.

    Very sharp post.

Even Romo would make sense there.

I think that Conner Cook will be OK. Let him practice with the starters this week and I believe he will do OK. Raiders will surprise Houston and win.

Actually he didn't look bad at all for no reps all year. Were going with Cook imo. If the raider D shows up and its not McGloin, were more than capable of beating the Texans.

It's a shame that their season is going to end this way. They literally have no quarterbacks, might as well throw one of these guys in there.
Peyton is done. He would hurt more than help.

Maziel is literally a crack head now. All he cares about is partying and doing drugs.

Unfortunately they are done for. It was bad luck, but could of been prevented. They should of been running the ball and not trying to pass. Raiders are like the Clippers, just when you think they might make some noise, something happens.

He'll end up just like his brother. Let's face it... you have decent talent... great WR's great RB's. An average QB makes you look like the BEST QB. Cook will do just fine against Houston.

As for Carr's future... guy will fall off the map. Reminds me of a young Carson Palmer. Not saying much. Guy doesn't make "amazing" plays like a QB should. Oh... and you can't be injury prone either.

Right on. Cook will give you 1 win. Might turn into a Tom Brady. You never know.

Sign manning to do what? He was awful last year. Was never good in the playoffs even in his prime.

Not happy about the utter disrespect towards Peyton, Manziel -- or Tebow for that matter.

Guys, there are QB's that can do something as far as helping your team win a playoff game, and there are guys who we know are just too small in big moments - and you are essentially just waiting for your team to lose. I'm not talking about chokers, but more so those 2nd string QB's that don't bring anything to the table for a playoff game.

Hence, why Vinny Testaverde was a good call ( not for this year obviously), but how many times did that guy get brought back, because he can actually do something.

Manziel would not be a bad call, if he weren't a partying stick.

Manning's arm was always a lot stronger after rest last year. He has had a lot of rest. Maybe Cook for AFC Championship Game. Carr back for Superbowl.

Are you joking? Did you see Peyton Manning in Super Bowl 50??? He was a disaster!! As for Manziel, he made a good move by going to the Heisman Awards and that's a step in the right direction, but he need's to get his life together. The Raiders, if they were even allowed to, should get some veteran quarterback like a Steve DeBerg or Vinny Testaverde back in the day (not those players but the equivalent in 2017). The veteran QB won't win the game, but their experience alone could make them competitive.

It's awful. Derek Carr was going to be the best QB in Raiders history (no offense to Stabler,Plunkett, and Lamonica), but this guy is a stud. The injury happened during a storybook season, but injuries are part of the game. Arizona had a great season two years ago and their top two QB's got injured.

How about Jimmy Clausen? Have to be realistic here, he has experience along with him being under 30. The guy isn't good but will probably be better than a new QB that is starting his first game in the playoffs.
