    WINNING

I think I'd be hoping for a period of price settling soon though. If it keeps going up at this rate eventually so many people will be talking about a bubble that it will become a self fulfilling prophecy.

Giving the market a chance to get used to $7500 for a while could be a good thing imho.

more places accept it as payment than you would think with more on the way

still kicking myself for buying some silver online with bitcoin about a year ago...with the current price of bitcoin, I spent thousands

can only laugh about it now as well as selling like 15 bitcoins in the past year and a half...at least I was smart enough to hang on to some

all you can do is make the best decision at the time and try not to look back or beat yourself up about it too much

Btw last time I bought coin threw coinbase it was threw my bank account took a week to get the coin was annoying...and the fees..is it a bad idea to just straight deposit into my book then immediately when I want withdraw and send to intermediate wallet then to coinbase lower fees and faster and no limit...I just wonder how long book will let me do it without betting the money.

I don't know? My theory is... I think more and more people are talking about Bitcoin throughout the workforce everyday now. Everyone talking about the FORK. A lot of newbies might be buying for the 1st time... and don't quite understand all the INS AND OUTS about the FORK. They just probably want to be a part of it...

If this happens... wouldn't this drive the price higher and higher every single day until the day of the FORK?

That's what I'm thinking... but of course... I've been wrong about every single thing so far.

Some books won't allow it. For example, Bookmaker places a 1x rollover (assuming you don't claim a bonus) on every deposit before you can withdraw for this reason.

P.S. With Coinbase, if you don't mind not locking in the price immediately, just deposit money into the USD wallet then buy the Bitcoin off GDAX for .25% or even 0% if you do a maker (limit) order. It usually takes me a couple less days to deposit the money into the wallet and have it show up than it takes to buy the Bitcoin and wait for it to clear.

This was a big concern of mine... felt very illegal transferring to the book when we were fluctuating from 6200 down to 5300... had my money moving in the matter of 12 hours in what would have taken 2 weeks if I went through the whole buying and selling via coinbase. also, that may be a concern from capital gains standpoint.

if he's mad now wait till china gets that stick out of their ass and lifts the ICO sanctions.. we're gonna be sitting at 10k absolute Charlie Sheen Bi-Winning. I love the accountant graduates always so salty about other people making a ton of money when their entire profession is predicated on counting other peoples money .can't make this sh*t up.

I'm not clear on why you are sending it to a sportbook? If you're not betting the bitcoin money why transfer it to a sportsbook? Are you just doing it to get the USD value? If so, there's easier ways to do that

Because people come in here and give finanicial advice when they have no clue what they are talking about. When people say BTC will never hit $5000 again, and a prediction of $7000 by the end of the year isnt realistic, they are influencing others. Everything I've said in this thread about BTC has been spot on, so excuse me if I'm critical of others who do no research, have no knowedgle about bitcoin and are giving predictions based on "feelings."

How long are you going with this fukking story? You were right on one call. Big fukking deal.

I don't see you opening up a bitcoin brokerage anywhere guy with your expertise.

You have like 5% accuracy just like anyone else.

Do you go down on yourself as well?

5% accuracy? Lol, show me one thing I'd predicted wrong. Not everyone is as clueless as you.

Lets try this, lets make a bet on my next prediction.

Here it is: Bitcoin will go up to around $7800 at the fork, then retrace down to the $5000-5500 range before going up again.

Name the terms and I'll take your money

Of course. Just transfer your bitcoin from Coinbase to GDAX (they are connected, the transfer is instant) and then sell on their exchange. You can then leave your USD amount on GDAX or transfer it back to your Coinbase USD wallet. You can do this for buys or sells. It also costs no fees if you make the orders on GDAX
