Yeah, I forgot that people outside the states can't renew with points. I never understood that. You could always deposit in a new book though, no? It's always good to have multiple outs.

Well BET365 is the only Book that lets you use the pre paid Vanilla ** option. I prefer using the Vanilla cards, their a lot less hassle.

Pro here. Sbr has significantly enhanced my personal gambling roi, I basically give $100 to anyone I know fundraising for a legit charity, and even without those it literally pays for itself even if I don't place in a single contest.

There are some solid cappers on this site and the insight is fun. I don't care if they do take the write off themselves - I get a benefit that far exceeds the $200 I paid to go pro 3 or 4 years ago.

If you don't go pro, is there really any reason to spend the time acquiring bet points?

I cannot go pro until I start to pick some winners.

Most of you are "pro" with losing records... how can that possible be construed as "pro" anything?

I will get back to this query in a month or so if I can produce a profit.

I don't think anyone ever suggested that being an SBR PRO meant that you were a professional gambler or were somehow a superior handicapper. It's kinda like Amazon Prime. Do you need to have Prime to order from Amazon? No of course not, but if you use Amazon a lot it just makes sense to upgrade your account. You come out ahead on content and shipping and everything else if you use the service. Same with the SBR PRO program.

Probably the best explanation given of why you should go pro. Not to mention I see a lot of non-pros with 1,000s of bet points that are being wasted.

    TRUTH coach, TRUTH

The ones who respect us I get and that's cool.

The ones who talk shit and think they're part of things without giving to charity? Go back to where you came from or wherever - just not here.

Know your f*kkin role, non pros.

I never said that being here often meant anything negative about a poster, you did. And you have been here quite a lot.

I agree with you on the points. I hardly ever wager points in the sportsbook, before last week, I hadn't submitted picks for BTP for weeks... I have never reddemed points for anything but charity.

I really just became a pro for the charity, and to be a part of the community.

$100 isn't much to me. I don't bet big, but I do very well for myself.

There are some very respectable non pros, though they are very rare.

I very much respect this non pro based on his picks and advice pertaining to the fairer gender.

Before this Pro status a few years back, Newguy above ran charities that I contributed all my points to for the week
that SBR sponsored. I had no use for the points until SBR changed the rules. I hurried up and bought a hat and coffee
    mug before the change.

Back then to be a Pro, you had to join one of their books. I already had a book. By then the US made it hard to
join a foreign book. I tried. Also, if you join a sponsored book, 35% of your losses go to the sponsor. (SBR)
No big deal, I just liked my book.

As a non pro wanting to go Pro, you are allowed to keep 3,000 points. I would have to go to the casino or
SBR sports book to lose 5,000 points. Every time I do, I win more.

Initial donation of $100 gets you Pro, but after that you can go Pro with 3,000 points. From what I understand.

I don't know about non pros, but I suspect that the correlation between PRO account holders and Prime subscribers is pretty high.
