Ryder Cup: Team USA is a sizable favorite

The US squad is in the neighborhood of a -200 favorite depending on which book you use. That's a pretty heavy favorite. Is this the year they finally break through?

Wiz, nobody can quite figure out why the US has struggled so much since that ridiculous comeback in Brookline.

BUT, one thing that will always stick in my mind, the US players caps always had individual names on the back.
    Europe had "Team Europe".

I implore anyone thinking about laying -200 to take a look at the past 4-5 Cups.
If you need to lay the favorite, wait for the Presidents Cup.

I agree with Dom, the Americans always seem to run into some turmoil, usually revolving around team and individual play.

It might be the year for the Americans, but the price is not worth it...The only hope is that nobody buys it, but from what I can see, that's not happening right now.

There will be better golf bets moving forward.

    Good Luck

I won't lay those odds but I think the US team finally gets it done

I saw an interview with Phil about the cup and captain decisions. It's interesting when you think about the different balls players use and then have to learn, depending on captain decisions.

I found this article which talks a bit about it and explains Phil's past frustrations...

Europe or pass. You are a fool if you lay -200 on the selfish, individualistic U.S. squad.

USA will get the win for Arnold Palmer. I don't think he ever played in a losing Ryder Cup team.

I took Ryan Moore as Top Debutant for +550. He and Koepka are the only Americans in the category.

Danny Willett could be the threat there.

I saw Phil talking about how he spent 4 hours trying to learn how to use Tiger's balls....not enough time to prepare, etc but I always heard Tiger hated Phil since that Ryder Cup because Phil was on his phone checking CFB scores and texting his bookie all day. Lol

    4-zippyskippy....hmmmm

If anyone has access to live betting, Europe must be HUGE dogs at the moment.
I don`t, but can anyone find a price?

Maybe a good shot at taking the European pairs for the afternoon.

I picked up Garcia and Cabrera Bello +1/2 (-145) over Holmes and Moore.

Edit: Scratch that, trade not confirmed, then players teed off.

Looks like 5-3 unless Speith/Chubby have a sick back nine.

5-3 is nothing going into Sat matches.

US looking strong. I have an open parlay that's holding US +1/2 (-210) from before the Cup started, so there's a little interest for me.

I also have that Fowler pick as well Wizzle.
