    Vegas futures bet question

    Hey dudes happy Sunday.

    I have the opportunity to head to Vegas in two weeks. Have been researching some futures in NFL and NCAA.

    Question: If I place a wager and it wins...do I need to go back to Vegas to collect? I don't see myself going back in the next 6 months as this is an opportunity that is too good for me to pass up.

    I don't want to place a future if I need to go back.

    Make a copy - send it with delivery confirmation - it is safe - you can collect on a lost ticket as long as nobody got there first and you can tell them what time - what team - what event, etc. I didn't think it was a whole year so it would not hurt to double check that.

    There is a superstition - on your way to the airport - put one good bet in - that you will not be there to collect if it wins. if you win - you have to mail it in to collect. Nothing scientific - LOL - but - kind of a fun bet to have one more shot.
