Reds backers need to lock themselves in a padded room where there are no breakables.. I weren't on then, thankfully because I was considering them, but Seriously that's a bad beat.. I would have broke stuff..

I had the Cards as the last leg of a parlay with a load of Olympic tennis selections.
All the tennis matches won before I went to bed (Cards game started at 1am UK time). Woke up and saw Cards won 5-4.
It's only when I looked on the MLB site a couple of hours later that I saw that the Cards scored all of their runs with 2 outs in the 9th. I think this cancels out every single bad beat I've ever had - unreal luck.Points Awarded:

It wasn't lucky, it's part of the game. You play until the final out for a reason. It's never over until the last out. The fact they scored 5 in the 9th makes up for that shit pitcher Reed, who they already rocked earlier in the season, shutting them out. Cards should've scored 5 runs off that rag arm Reed alone, let alone that shoddy Reds blowpen. Doesn't matter if you score 5 in the 1st or 5 in the 9th inning, they still count.
