A lot of people joining have no other options. They're massively in debt from college and can't get a job in their field. Tough economic times for current generation unless they were born into a wealthy family, which almost everyone wasn't. There's still a lot of GI Joe type guys and tomboyish type girls out there that all they want to do is join the military also. Never been a better time to be a military recruiter.

Agree 100%, education is huge and a lot of kids want out of bad area's as well and the military is always their option. No draft needed.
