I am a bit torn here, but having said that here are some simple facts.....
*If Crowell were white and he posted an image of a white citizen murdering a black police officer, he would not only have been already released by the Browns, he would be fearing for his life.
*If Crowell were a third-string lineman at the end of his career, he would have been immediately released. Browns tonight would have been touting how they quickly reacted by doing the right thing. As it is, they are considering taking the "we are all about second chances" approach.
Just what they Browns didn't need. The most dysfunctional franchise in sports now has to deal with another PR nightmare. Meanwhile, Crowell - if he survives this from a career standpoint - will face all kinds of heat wherever he goes / wherever the Browns play.
