I never tried it with Block Chain.. Never even looked into it yet.. Just thought of it now.. Always cashed out thru Coin base in the past.
Blockchain has a service now where you can basically cash out to a partner broker. There's no fee, but the price they offer to buy at is about 2% lower than the market price. You have to do it from a computer, and set it up ahead of time where you provide your bank account info for deposit.

Once you're set up, it looks like it functions like Bitpay basically where you enter how much you want to sell and then Blockchain sends the Bitcoin to the broker from your wallet and the funds are direct deposited to your bank. There appears to be separation between the wallet and broker so I doubt there's a concern with cashing in gambling funds like with Coinbase.

Just do the transaction at a big bank, because they will have cameras for some form of security for you.

Thanks buddy.. Yep, I saw the new service now for cashing out on Blockchain that's why I asked. I just never got around on how to use it and how it works.. Maybe I'll try it.. I got $2500 sitting in block chain now that I want to get out.. Was gonna just transfer it over to Coinbase today.. I'll get back to this thread if I do use the Block Chain cash out service and if it goes smoothly... I'll check the market price also...

I hate all those transfer fees.. Wanna weed them out if possible.. I've funded my books in the past directly from Coinbase before and had no problems and completely bypassed the Block Chain bitcoin wallet..

I posted in another thread about my experience trying to sell through Blockchain with a picture of the fee breakdown. With fees, it basically came out to 2%+ a Bitcoin transaction fee and up to 5 business days to deposit. I decided to go with GDAX instead.

I never tried it.. I just transferred the funds from Blockchain to Coinbase and cashed out that way thru the connected Chase bank transfer that I set up at Coinbase already. Funds just hit my account today.. Took 2 days..

I figured I didn't wanna mess around with Blockchain and the new system when it's just direct and easy at Coinbase and fast. Transaction fees from Blockchain to Coinbase are kinda small anyways..
