ESPN's Brett McMurphy reports that the Sun Belt will add a conference title game in 2018.

The Big 12 and Sun Belt had been the only remaining FBS conferences not to utilize title games as of last month. No longer the case on either count. The Big 12 voted for the title game unanimously at the beginning of June and now, per McMurphy, the Sun Belt is following suit. They will first wait for Idaho and New Mexico State to leave the conference in 2017. Coastal Carolina is coming on board in 2018 to give the Sun Belt an even 10 teams. A Wednesday afternoon conference call with commissioner Karl Benson and Texas State president Dr. Denise Trauth should provide more details as to how the title game will be implemented.
