    Curry is just another Jeter

Get used to it. He will eventually lose a conf finals/nba finals but right now it's glory time.

Yeah he's got a lot more willing to do though and much much more dominant than Derek Jeter… Jeter play around so many Great players

    Agree

after thinking about it I doubt they win another ship after this

nba will find a way to break up the dream team

likely Klay goes elsewhere to get a max contract

so you're saying the Warriors won't be willing to give him a max deal? because they will (barring major injury) and of course they have his Bird rights, so they'll happily fly over the cap and pay the luxury tax for him. keep in mind, he's still under contract for 3 more years after this season with no opt outs. also, they'll be playing in S.F. by that time and the franchise will be making an absolute fortune on new arena ticket and merchandising revenue.

Yeah he will probably eventually lose one like every star in NBA history except Jordans Bulls. You lost a bunch of bets, now ur gonna hate Curry. Give them their due. They came through and OKC didnt.

guy will have a short shelf life, its taken him 7 years to be this good. But the quickness will fade fast

he won't be able to get his own open shots as easy.

This is just a dumb statement all around. He won his first title at 27. Jordan won his first title at 28. And as for quickness, Ray allen seemed to do fine as he aged and curry is a better shooter then him. Stop hating.

its not about titles. Jordan was a star in the league from day 1. Curry only recently became above average. he was nowhere near Jordan level for his first 5 years in the league.

Ray Allen and Curry are different type players, different positions

Would never break up Steph and Klay, any GM is smart he will keep them together for the rest of their career. Theyll probably go down in history as the longest playing backcourt in NBA history.

Ray Allen was a stand still type shooter

Curry dos it all..drives, off the dribble, stand alone

Thats the older version of Ray, he had a long and productive career as an all around player before the Boston and Miami days.

Pretty good analogy LB, I like it. Yesterday I read an article of players he played against in high school and it wasn't what I thought I would read. They all focused on his comfortability with contact, driving in the paint and not focusing on physical discomfort. Only time will tell if he breaks down but winning back to back titles is a pretty good accomplishment. He'll also continue to get very good ownership support in replacing players like Barnes and Iguadala.

Also many people talk about Curry's defense. Here is a video of him guarding Westbrook, except for game 7, I believe. Judge for yourself.

Curry ankles are one injury away from him being on the bench.

It has happened to a lot of great players

    Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway etc

If I was a warriors fan thats what I would be concerned about.

we aren't talking about who was a star from day 1. You said curry has a short shelf life and I was saying he's about to win two titles to Jordan's one at the same age. This isn't who is a better star this is a rebuttal to you saying curry won't last. Also a shooter is a shooter so to say Allen and curry are different players is not looking at all to what I'm saying. Currys quickness might go but he's still a pure shooter and will still have a quick release. He can still be a star when he ages he will just adjust to less ball handling.

I'm saying if you can shoot in this league as well as curry you'll have a long career even if your quickness fades. My comparison was that Ray sllen got slower but adjusted and because he was a skilled shooter had a long career

Seriously some of you guys are plain stupid.

curry has the last 2 mvp along with a championship last year and possibly this year.

his star would have risen 4 years ago if not for the injures to his ankles.

as much as I love lebron he had to go and form the big 3 to win his championships.....curry has started from the bottom now his here!

i just don't get the curry hate

Comparing present players to past players is like a fitting a square peg in a round hole imo. The landscape is vastly different than 20 years ago and back.

The nba today is guard heavy and fast break oriented. No emphasis on bigs, half court sets and defense.

If curry has to be compared to anyone it should be Steve Nash who was the prototype to break the mold. First on Dallas then on a larger scale in Phoenix.

Curry is surrounded with great players. Don't fool yourself. The warriors have great basketball players. It's the only reason they survived the okc onslaught. They still played their rotation unlike okc who had no depth. You will find out in the finals how the cavs won't be able to keep those retreads on the court too long. Curry is a quiet unassuming guy like Jeter. He even has the father and family there like Jeter did. These guys are what the league loves. They bring respect to the game and kids look up to them. Kids don't look up to fools who have no pride in doing it the right way.

Agree lakerboy, GS is a great team all around and no real thugs, kinda nice for kids like you say to have decent people like that to look up to. Had to laugh a little when I read your last bit there about what the league wants etc as I thought of that new commercial with Robinson and Sprewell, so true.

West brook might have the lowest game IQ in the nba. Certainly the dumbest guard in the league
