    I text with Ry Ho a little this weekend. He said he's finally feeling good again. Swing is getting grooved. I get the feeling he's fixin to bust loose and start raking like old times.

    seriously though....guy was a beast in 06(.313 58HR 139RBI) -07(.268 47HR 139RBI)-08(.251 48HR 146RBI) 09 (.279 45HR 145RBI) ......was grossly underpaid during those years so good for him to be getting paid now......he gets a pass in my book due to that 2008 world series win

    They're just paying for past performance, what poor sports franchise's do. Example, Albert Pujols. One of the best franchise in all of sports, St Louis Cardinals, got everything out of his prime, when it was time for the next big paycheck, to a then declining player, they smartly declined. Angels shell him multiple millions, for a declining superstar and wont sniff the playoffs with him, or the next 5 years after him. Not like St Louis, whos a title contender every year.
