Agree 100% for betting dogs, Bodog works well as an alternate book for me. The rollover on bonuses is 3x for sports too which is great and calculated on $$ RISKED not money won. Free monthly payouts via courier are nice compared to places like DSI that nail you $50+.

I like bovada as a dog betting place. Bad lines, late lines, juiced lines have nothing to do with this issue or why I keep money on this book. I use other books. The issue is this can't be the standard for them, if this is how they operate its an issue. Bad numbers and late numbers are something that is known and accepted.

A stale bet should never be deleted as it is on the book to keep their prices fresh. You the player in essence help them with that by hitting a stale line as it should wake the guy up to move towards market price.

An obvious bad line means the book used a number that wasn't available ever and will almost always get deleted by the book. It is never a wise thing to bet into obvious bad lines because you allow the book to freeroll you.

This incidence with Bovada was easy to see as stale because the line history shows that was Port -125 or so and then shot up to -180 to -190 range on the release of the news that Griffin was done for the year. From the -180 to -240 was just normal movement as the Game 5 price settled to around -3 or -4 pt fav meaning they would be in the -9 to -10 range for Game 6.

Any plays on Port series should have never been deleted.

The lines you can get during The nfl on dogs is worth a bovada account. Also I am pretty sure they are getting rid of free check bc of **** fast fund option, which I don't understand bc I don't have any **** cards that have worked yet. Bitcoin deposits available but not for withdrawal.

Also for the record when I made this bet I don't believe I checked any other books for prices. I just saw Griffin was out and decided to bet Portland. I didn't knowingly hit a bad line. I hadn't researched either injury or the market price. I won a few bucks on black jack and threw it on Portland bc I saw blake was out on the ESPN ticker.

Lastly they hey didn't correct my issue in a timely manner, which is also an issue for me. I would have been perfectly fine buying Portland at what ever fair market was but they took so long to address it but the time is was available the line was -240. Even though this was not right either at least they could have offered true market at the time of the bet.

Yeah, bovada always been good for doggy bets and never had a payout problem with free checks or fast funds but now fast fund isn't working on my card they've used before and they wanna charge $50 on the check. 👎🏻

I thought I had heard C Ayre had sold and was no longer affiliated with Bovada. Either way it's a chit thing to do. It's not the players fault they were asleep at the switch.......I used to defend this book because through it all they were rock solid as far as payouts, now it's not uncommon to have issues with the Canadian checks. On the grand plus-minus scale the negatives now so far outweigh the plusses that I simply will not play there anymore. Good luck with your dispute.

People need to understand that Bovada is THE top place for US based Poker and Casino play. They also have a top racebook for horse racing players. Their sportsbook is strictly a recreational model and is terrible for most serious sports bettors.

Folks, started a new thread for surface readers but players should see a bonus credit for the winning amount in their accounts by EOD.

I'm starting a new thread so all who weren't following page 3, see this. Also because when a book makes something right it deserves the nod. Bovada is crediting all players who had Blazers -125 canceled before game 5 as if the series was over and the bet has won now. The only stipulation is 1x rollover as is the case with credits/deposits.

Bovada mgt genuinely believed this was a human error but combined with the injury line changes and not alerting players of the cancellation as is their standard procedure, they felt it was fair to resolve in favor of players.

Bovada can take almost 3 weeks now to pay out and get funded as I just experienced that.. That kinda sucks, keep that in mind when requesting a payout from Bovada.. It will be a 3 week wait to credit your bank card or send you a check..

I gotta admit though they give out the best bonus play out there, for example I just got this email this morning.. I get these kind of emails once a month probably. I don't need to deposit money and won't do this but it's a nice offer.. 200% freeplay isn't too shabby..
