    don't understand why because he never won a "world series" diminishes his pitching record. he's not a quarterback trying to win a superbowl, only 1 pitcher in a 5 man rotation. the other 4 would have more impact on the teams ultimate finish.

    according to the less than knowledgeable killer_demo he must have since you have to be on a "team" that wins a championship to be considered the best. baseball is a game where individual performance statistics define your ability rather than being a cog on a championship team.
