    they didnt finish last because of Uehara... His splitter is so unhittable that he doesnt need more than a 87-89 MPH fastball.. Have you ever seen him pitch? People up there looking silly when he throws the fastball because they sit on the splitter so much...

    He was mostly a bust when coming up with so much hype last year, but part if that had to do with pitching in Arizona, he pitched well his only start in San Francisco, allowing two runs and four hits in 6.2 innings. And Peavy is not that good to be laying this much.
